Awesome Coverage
If we did not have this pet insurance to cover our rescue dog Kobe’s medications we would have a really difficult decision to make. We are so grateful for this ASPCA coverage.

Pet insurance made easy!
When we got Buddy I researched pet insurance and I compared a few. In the end I decided to go with ASPCA and I am really happy with my choice. They have always been on top of claims submitted and their web site is easy to navigate and claim reimbursement explanation is always clear. I like the fact that they keep you updated with emails throughout the processing of the claim and contacting their customer care has always been easy. Much better than my health insurance!

Useless Ripoff
I have had Figo for almost 2 years and they have covered NOTHING!! I pay my premiums by auto pay but they INSIST on me paying my vet bill in full before even processing my claim. And NOTHING is covered. They always find a way to label it as a pre-existing condition or not covered. My dog has had biopsy surgery, nerve spasms, ear infections, and broken teeth but Figo wouldn’t cover any of it. One surgery was over $700. Figo covered 0!! I canceled and because I expressed my upset about the lack of coverage and their reimbursement policy I got a lecture from the agent. Done! Will never use or recommend Figo again!! Waste of time and money!!

Service is SUB PAR since they were bought out.
I have been a client of Pets Best for 17 years. Since they were bought out by Care Credit AKA Synchrony bank. Their "Quick" payout of claims even with all the correct paperwork is HORRID. 40 to 50 day on new Claims. I understand growth may be good for business. But I feel that I am being held hostage is even worse. My Doodle has Fanconi syndrome and even if I wanted to switch companies I can't. They have outstanding claims of mine since 11/25/19 with 7 or 9 pending I have lost count. I understand complete that the Tier 1 CSR ladies, seems to have their hands tied as well. I have finally gotten a phone ## into Headquarter above Pets Best. If I can not get a response in a timely manner, I will re-file with BB NW Division and their local dept of consumer affairs. What a shame that a great company is now TRASH.

Easier than I thought
I put in a claim on Jan 3, 2020 and by Jan 17, 2020 was reimbursed for exactly what I paid for. Used the app and the process was very easy to upload receipts etc. Surprisingly easy and quick on the turnaround time.

I am simply shopping for pet insurance
I am simply shopping for pet insurance. And I have the 30 day trial set up from my vet that is activated immediately. I was about to click submit to purchase insurance but many of the claims that Trupanion has refused creates concern for me. My dog has a loose lux but not luxating. Movement was negligible. I asked the vet if it would affect insurance if anything happened or if it became worse, and he said he didn’t believe it would. Because it’s not an actual problem. My dog is fine. Is this considered a pre-existing condition and she has knee problems later on in life, would Trupanion cover it? UPDATE - I have spoken with Trupanion. They said they would not cover ANY other future leg problems even though it is NOT Luxating now or at the time of any new diagnoses, because they would be considered somehow related. The vet even had me move it. It is still within the grooves of the bones and therefore is fine. I believe the vet has to say that she absolutely has this condition now. Also she has six baby teeth that need to be removed because they never fell out. The previous owner did not take clean her teeth and she has signs that could lead to gingivitis. After her cleaning and proper hygiene she will be fine. So now any future issues with her teeth, are now considered preexisting conditions as well. I asked if the vet declared her teeth once again healthy, and she did a face plant on the floor and cracked a tooth, would it be covered and they said no because it is possible that her condition now would’ve weekend her teeth. So I agree with the other reviews. Yes, they will look for any reason to refuse payment. Even when the vet declares them healthy after treatment. This feels like your own health insurance refusing a claim for a prescription, because you had a cold 20 years ago, so it must be related. I will be putting aside my money and adding it to investments each month. With the deductible and monthly payments, at least I’ll have some money to pay for any future concerns instead of none.
