Simple and easy
I used Embrace Pet insurance for the first year of my pup's life. They have a simple claims format, you have to do the work to submit claims, but it was really easy and straight forward. I utilized their wellness plan as well and they did a good job at reimbursing any charges related to a wellness plan. Customer service was prompt and not pushy ever. I will use them again if we decide to insure our dog in the future!

HUGE advocate for pet insurance
My husband and I went back and forth about purchasing pet insurance after getting a golden retriever puppy. After extensive research, we decided to go with Healthy Paws and I could not be happier. My golden, Easton (@easton_the_golden), recently had abdominal obstruction surgery followed by pneumonia and spent three days at the emergency vet hospital. It is scary enough to go through this with your pet, let alone having to worry about being able to cover the cost. Healthy Pet made this process as painless as possible for us. Within 24 hours, someone at Healthy Pet contacted us to see how Easton was feeling and in 3 days of submitting our claim, we had a check in the mail to cover the costs. Although the cost per month has gone up dramatically each year, when we have major health issues you really come through! We have another test our dog needs but have delayed it due to the Corona Virus.

Claim Submission Process Easy & Fast
The claims submission process was very easy, and the claims were reviewed and processed very quickly (<1 week). I also appreciate the plan option to include Wellness exams, as I am a huge proponent for preventative care (which may reduce cost for my pet later on in life, and reduce utilization and costs in the overall industry if done in aggregate).

I called to ask a question about a claim and my call was answered right away, even though I was told there would be a wait. The rep was very friendly, and asked how Wrangler was doing.
