We highly recommend Healthy Paws Pet Insurance! We had used another pet insurance company for more than 13 years and became increasingly disappointed as time went on. Upon the adoption of our next pet, we researched numerous other companies. We found that Healthy Paws was very versatile in being able to choose options that best met our needs. After signing up with them we have been impressed with their prompt claim reviews and reimbursement. Their explanation of benefits on the reimbursement statements is clear and precise. In contacting customer service, their Customer Care and Online Relationship Associates are courteous and professional. We have been using Healthy Paws for over 3 years and have not been disappointed. We know our pets always come first with them.

Seamless Coverage
My dog had to undergo dental surgery which was really expensive and would have been a big financial hit before xmas without pet insurance. Trupanion made it super easy: while I was waiting for my dog to be picked up and the bill from the vet, Trupanion approved the charges, paid their covered share all in a span of 10 min. I was very grateful that I didn't have to pay the whole bill upfront and then submit it for reimbursement of the covered amount. It was also a big relief how quickly it was all handled. It made my experience (although traumatic for my dog) very positive. Thank you!

Once I finally got to a specialist, she was able to assist with no issues and very quickly. Sadly on my first attempt earlier that day, it was not as simple... as apparently no one was available and someone was to call back but never did so I had to call back. With my other pet on the same policy, it was difficult to register as well.
