Best pet insurance ever!
Healthy Paws is more than just pet insurance. They are a group of amazing people who care about your pet. Our dog just needed surgery and they were there for us every step of the way. Their claim process is very organized and they keep you informed every step of the way. They even took the time to follow up with us after the surgery to see how our dog was recovering. Have had to file 4 claims in the past couple of months and have appreciated Nationwide's system of review and making the process very easy. They applied the deductions, which I was already aware of, and approved at least 90% of the claims after that. SO thankful, as we were not expecting so many emergency situations to come up as they did for our dog Bear. Really glad I joined Nationwide and totally recommend them.

Great service
For the past 11 years we have been very happy with per insurance services It gives us peace of mind. We r grateful Junior has been overall a healthy boxer he does tend to be accident prone but in his old age he is slowing down a bit. We go on walks everyday he wakes up happy and energized, we cook his meals using whole grains and mostly organic vegetable and protein which we feel contributes to his overall health we are expecting many more years with Junior Thank you

Affordable and quick reimbursement, great customer service!
Healthy Paws has been amazing!! It’s so reasonably priced and affordable and is so easy to submit claims. They are so quick to review claims and just reimburse us through direct deposit! They also sent us an email asking how our dog was doing, since we were submitting of claims due to pneumonia. Best choice we made!!

Delay Delay and more Delay
I had a very difficult time to try to get reimbursed on my dog's claims. Nationwide stated he claims never received even though I had someone assisting me. We had to try numerous times to have the claim/questionnaire sent from the Vets to Nationwide. Delays delays and more delays. Nationwide requested information about my dog before he was even born! My dog was at the breeder from May 2019 to December 2019. They insisted on information about him when he was weeks old! I didn't own him then. sigh. I would highly recommend Michelle Santos for monitoring the claim/questionnaire. If it was not for her, I'd still be waiting.

Great Insurance and Service
I have been a customer since nationwide was underwriting for VPI, more than 10 years. I always recommend to new pet parents and even added my second dog the minute we got him. Over the years several improvements have been made like electronically providing payment, vet helpline, and companion articles with discounts included. They cover what many don’t and have smaller deductibles to do it with. Everyone I have recommended agrees how great the service is, extensive the coverage is and how quickly the process takes. Would highly recommend, it gives you such a peace of mind to have insurance when caring for your fur baby! Thanks nationwide, definitely on our side :)
