So glad we decided to try pet insurance after having large vet bills with other dogs. Our 10 month Bernese developed elbow problems and we elected to have arthroscopic surgey. The insurance covered all three visits for this illness. My intial visit to primary vet ($185), the consulation with Orthpedic ($100) and the actual process ($3100) were all covered less the deductible and coinsurance. Great company to deal with. They even appologized twice becuase it took them a few weeks to pay my claim. I had money before my credit card bill for the surgery arrived.

I have found the customer service for Healthy Paws to be excellent. They seem to genuinely care about the well being of my pet dog, and they were very helpful when I was filing a claim. I would definitely recommend Healthy Paws to anyone who wants the piece of mind of having their pet insured.

With our kitty having a persistent urinary infection, the cost of keeping her healthy was dipping into our monthly budget. Thank goodness for the reimbursement by ASPCA Pet Insurance. I submitted the claim form for both wellness and insurance together in a single email. Embrace staff split them into two separate filings for us. They sent us emails to keep us informed throughout the claim process. Reimbursement was directly deposited to our bank account; we even got an email to follow up on whether we've received the payment. Great service overall. Thanks.

Healthy Paws has been the greatest choice we have made as pet owners. They are responsive, kind and helpful at all times. Our sweet lab ruptured her CCL. The repair and rehabilitation was extensive. Healthy Paws processed all of our claims within 48 hours. More importantly, we received a personalized email from a representative to check on our dogs progress after the surgery.

Aloha! When I started shopping around for pet insurance for my 2 kids, I checked every company out there. I talked to several people about the pet insurance they had and got several referals. However, after I spent a great deal of time reading the 'fine' print on all the contracts and all the options. I also spent time reading all the reviews other people had with their pet insurance companies, those really helped. I researched for weeks and weeks. When I settled on Healthy Paws, I felt I had chosen the best company. My experience with the staff at Healthy Paws has been top-notch. When I made a claim on my daughter, they responded right away. No matter what time it was. I live in Hawaii and when I called to leave them a message because it was after hours, someone actually answered the phone and she remembered me from my emails! That's customer service!!! Even after my daughter's surgery, they emailed me just to check up on my baby girl. I've told everyone that I know who has pets about Healthy Paws and how great the company is. They are prompt with communications and reimbursements. Its the best pet insurance company on the market! I suspected that my 7 month old puppy had got into my Ibuprofen and potentially swallowed 400 mg worth of the gel pills. I had to get immediate induced vomiting and a 2-day ER stay. Thankfully, he came out of the ER fine and healthy. When I submitted the claim form to Embrace, everyone I was in contact with was very helpful and friendly. I've recommended Embrace to friends and they have decided on using Embrace as well.

Healthy Paws has been great w/responding to claims and handling all inquiries. My rescue pitbull, Sam, unfortunately has a habit of ingesting things that are harmful. The first time, when I had him for 2 mos, he swallowed half a tennis ball. I didn't have insurance and it cost approx $2000 for surgery to remove the ball. After that frightening experience, I purchased Healthy Paws and am so glad that I did. As a young dog he has had a few other mishaps that were now covered by Healthy Paws - he was bitten by another dog; scorched the pads of his paws from playing on hot summer pavement, ingested an eye glass lens, ear infection and most recently a ping pong ball scare. I didn't have one problem with re-imbursement for any of the above. We could not do without this insurance and I highly recommend it.
