I recently got a policy with Pets Best and filing claims couldn't be easier and the response was fast. The option of direct deposit is a plus. Speaking with a representative is fast hardly any wait time and they answered all my questions! Very happy i got a policy!

Avoid at all costs

Awful. Save your money and go elsewhere. Will have long wait times, I had to wait over a month to hear back on my claim.

Truly the best pet insurance

I have an almost four year old french bulldog who has a few health issues, one of which is recurring aspiration pneumonia. This diagnosis has rung me up some serious vet bills but Pets Best Pet Health Insurance has saved my buns with bills. They process claims and reimburse you in a timely manner. You may have to wait a few weeks but I know people who have to wait months for reimbursement and the amount is no where near what Pets Best will reimburse you. I'm a real customer with a real dog who requires a lot financially and she wouldn't be here, and I would be in serious debt, without Pets Best. Thank you Pets Best Pet Health Insurance!

ASPCA Saved My Cat's Life!!

After extensive vet/emergency care visits from the beginning of November through January to find out that my cat Rupert had a brain tumor, the tumor was successfully removed by a neurological surgeon at a local VSEC hospital. All this to say that I incurred extremely large vet bills and ASPCA stepped up to the plate to process claims submitted in a timely matter. While I still am waiting for the last (and hopefully final) claim to be processed, I am confident that it will be completed in a timely manner. If it wasn't for this insurance, I would either had to re-mortgage my home (just kidding) or send my sweetie over the rainbow bridge (not kidding). As an aside, when calling ASPCA for questions/claims follow up, I cannot express how professional and compassionate these folks are. Many conversations with different folks at ASPCA have helped me to focus on my cat's illness/recovery and not worry about what it was going to cost to save his life. I am truly indebted to this pet insurance and strongly suggest if you do not have pet insurance now, GET IT!!!!!!! ASPCA is definitely the way to go!!!!!

I am a real customer with a real pet

I am a real customer with a real pet. I have had a policy for eight years with one mild claim until this year. My year my dog developed some significant health issues and amassed a substantial bill in short order over the holidays. I can only say I wish they did human insurance; they are far better to deal with than the evil empire of human health insurance providers. Simple and straight forward. Pay your deductible; They pay 90% (but no exam fee's). They share that upfront and live up to it on the back end. Yes they've have mild annual adjustments to the premium but nothing that really raised an eyebrow. They even pay for the an RX diet if needed for the diagnosis. Again I am a real person, there were times I thought about saving a few bucks and cancelling the policy. Obviously I am happy I did not. Keep in mind that the average living thing (Dog, Cat or Human) will spend more on health care in the last two years of life than all the rest of life combined (Generally). It's a good investment. Buy the policy young! Research your desired pet, use a reputable breeder and don't rack up pre-existing issues.

I've only been using Pets Best for a short period of time. I can say I'm impressed with their customer service and phone app. However, I feel the claims timeline could be faster.

Embrace your furbabies for peace of mind

This is the first time we have ever purchased insurance for our furbabies. We decided when we adopted a 9 year old Scottish Terrier rescue and then an 8 week old Scottish terrier puppy that we would look into pet insurance due to our previous scottie rescue that we adopted at 3 years old became sick at age 11 and the monthly medical expenses were so high we couldn't afford to go to specialist to find out what the underlying problem was. We had to rely on the local vet who just threw multiple medications at her and she passed away 6 months later. We were devastated and decided if we ever adopted another rescue we would have insurance. The 9 year old rescue was healthy except for allergies, which is a pre-existing condition and not covered by any insurance. We actually thought we wouldn't be able to afford the insurance because it would be too expensive on a senior scottie. We looked into several different insurance companies and liked the fact that we could pick the amount of coverage and deductible we wanted or could afford. We also were insuring our puppy. We inquired with several companies and decided on Embrace. After paying our first month premium, we requested a complete medical review so we knew what was covered and what wouldn't be covered so there wouldn't be any surprises. The insurance was a decent price for 2 scotties. 6 months after purchasing the insurance our senior was diagnosed with osteoarthritis. I sent in the claim and it was approved within 1 week. Recently our rescue was diagnosed with a tumor on her eye and they found a mass under her tongue. I sent in a pre-auth to find outif it was covered. Received the answer and what they approved and what our out of pocket cost would be. They covered most of the surgery and minus the deductible knew what we were responsible for. Thanks to Embrace, we were able to get the surgery she needed. They covered everything they said they would. We feel at ease knowing that we don't have to worry about whether we can afford getting the best medical care when our furbabies get sick or injured because Embrace has us covered.

Amazing!!!

Healthy Paws is the best pet insurance by far. As a petrent, it breaks your heart when your furbabies are sick, but it's worse if you are not able to cover the costs to make them better. We chose Healthy Paws 3+ years before we ever needed to make a claim. When our oldest dog needed surgery, I was so emotional, I didn't even know what to do to start the process. I called customer service, they walked me through everything they needed, and within HOURS of submitting the information my claim was being processed, and we were getting set for surgery. I was amazed! After surgery, they followed up to see how my pup(and us) were doing - super sweet. Honestly, from start(customer service) to finish(direct pay/claim processing), Healthy paws could not have been more helpful, understanding(I was a mess) and patient through this process. Getting Healthy paws insurance is one of the best things we ever did for our pups.

OMG ASPCA Dog Insurance is rip off

OMG ASPCA Dog Insurance is nothing but a HUGE RIP OFF, in our opinion. Our Coco had to have disc surgery 12-24-2019 after seeing 2 other Vet's all said & done our bill was 10,729.35 $, we paid it and I started paperwork to file claim, we have had a policy for both Coco and Cotton for 5 yrs now. We knew we were capped at 3,00.00 but that would have helped, but instead today I see our claim and they are paying 0, yes you see it correctly 0 a big goose egg. What in the heck have we been paying every month for, 12 moths for 5 years x's 2???? We would recommend using ANYONE but the ASPCA INSURANCE .....I hope ASPCA see's this! Tag EVERYONE
