Insured by Trupanion, such a great decision
This was my first time using Trupanion and it was a worry free experience. My pet showed signs of illness so we went to the vet. I was not financially prepared for the findings. Trupanion covered the majority of the costs, paid directly to the animal hospital and my pet received the treatment he needed. Now he is recuperating nicely at home. Thank you Trupanion.

The only pet insurance I will ever have
We have used MetLife now for a few years and it is always been a very easy process and a very kind process. We lost our dog / baby and I will never forget how kind the MetLife representative was when I called to say that he had passed away. She reminded me that they took care of afterlife care just like they took care of him when he was here. She reimbursed us for all aftercare cost. The kindness that we experienced is unforgettable. Can’t express how much this company is more than just a company. It’s a group of kind individuals helping you every step of the way.

Increase $75…
They increased my dogs insurance by $75 per month. Nothing happened to my dog to justify the increase They refused to pay for a routine vaccine/wellness check. I feel they haven't been fair, my dog is older but very healthy.

Advertised instant coverage then denied
I’m disappointed that I was told my pet was able to get instant coverage if I signed up in the office. I took the offer. At the conclusion of the office visit I submitted a claim to see how it would work. I was instantly denied because coverage just started that day. That is misleading and false advertising. Now on top of that, if I decide to continue with this insurance the condition I took my dog in for would be considered “pre-existing” and she’ll never be covered for it. Turned me right off. I was going to continue after the 30 days free but you lost my trust immediately. No thanks.
