When faced with major surgery for our sweet Penny - it was such a relief to know we had insurance for her. The claim process is easy, the response was quick, service is friendly and we feel like Healthy Paws cares about the service we receive and the care Penny gets

Don't trust them. Avoid at all costs.
Don't trust them. They are "transitioning too a new underwriter" aka they are jacking up prices by 50% or more. Read all the reviews. They still did that with the old underwriter. I am stuck because they are covering my pet's conditions already and anywhere else I go they can't help. They will make up BS excuses in their replies but they are liars and thieves. The claim takes so long to complete. It seems like they are just taking there time so they don't have to pay me right away. I don't have a good feeling about this company. They will not last long.

All positives for Healthy Paws so far
We have been so thankful that we got pet insurance for our puppy, Ruby! Due to some medical issues, she had multiple trips to the emergency vet during her first year, and Healthy Paws was very quick to process our claims. They make it clear what is covered and what is not when they send explanations of coverage. Their customer support team has been helpful and friendly. I’m a little concerned to see if our rates are going to skyrocket when our policy renews, but we still recommend everyone get pet insurance when bringing home a pet!
