We took our dog to Blue Pearl Emergency Hospital in Waltham, MA around 8:45PM. They gave us a high and a low estimate of his care fairly quickly and sent it along to Trupanion. Much to my surprise I received Trupanion's estimate of what would be covered figured on the higher estimate very quickly. He got excellent care and only had to spend one night in the hospital. The bill was less than the original low estimate and the hospital sent the claim directly to Trupanion. I received the email from Trupanion explaining exactly what would be covered asking how I would like them to pay the claim, direct deposit or check. I received the check just a few days later. The efficiency of the hospital and Trupanion was very reassuring during a very frightening situation. I didn't have to do a thing and everything was taken care of. THANK YOU!
