Worth the money, easy claims
We are first time dog owners, so we were overly cautious and purchased pet insurance. That ended being a great investment, because our puppy pulled the short end of the stick in terms of health issues. He ended up having giardia, hypertrophic osteodystrophy, pneumonia, and intestinal issues all within the first year. We were so glad to have insurance where we didn't have to worry about the cost of his recommended treatment. The claim process is extremely easy if you are used to online forms. I always submitted his invoice and medical records when filing a claim, and I have had no issues receiving reimbursements. As you can imagine, I have filed quite a few claims, and each of them was resolved within 30 days. I have recommended ASPCA to several friends and we will continue to have it for our dog and any future dogs.

I have a 10yo German Shepherd and nationwide pet insurance has been the best decision I have taken after adopting my dog. It gives me a great piece of mind, their customer service is great and their reimbursement are fast. I can definitely recommend it.

Improved online claim
The new online claim submit system is really nice and the process for filing claims has been much easier than before. Their process time can take several days from filing to their decision making, and then additional 2 days or so for the bank transfer. If I disagree with their decision I can request a review but that would take 30 days and in the meantime all processings of consequent claims will be paused until the questionable one got resolved. Luckily, timing is not a big concern for us now since our cat mainly had minor issues that needed to be taken care of.

buyer be aware
false claims that the premium rate will never increase due to age or health but actually it 100% will increase anywhere by 10% to 20% every year apparently due to inflation and cost of vet care, even this year when we actually have diflation....very misleading
