Great online access - but overall policy?

Until we could no longer afford the monthly payment, we had the three pet family plan. Great coverage for the cost and they paid on time for everything. I really like the online access to check in on any current or past claims. The only negative I have with Petfirst is that they will catagorize an illness that happens one year into next years policy renewal as a pre-existing condition. That is why I will not use them in the future if we get pet insurance again. And that is why Overall rating is low. Otherwise I would give them a 10!!!!!!!!!

Only surprise was needing to use it so soon!

Three weeks after getting Healthy Paws coverage for my youngest dog Andee, he became very ill. Andee has never had a serious health issue, so we were very surprised by his symptoms. After rushing to the ER and a number of tests later, Andee was diagnosed with lymphoma. I would never have thought my youngest, healthiest dog would be the first to go. I was in such a state of shock the Healthy Paws staff kindly took care of contacting the ER and handling the paperwork. I didn't have to do a thing. Then I received a very thoughtful email from the company along with my coverage statement. Shortly after that I received a check for the ER visit reimbursement. Healthy Paws paid exactly what I expected based on my deductible and coinsurance. No surprises. (I had other pet insurance in the past and was ALWAYS surprised.) The only surprise here was needing to use the coverage so soon!

Good policy, reasonable rates, excellent service

Flexible options for what I want to cover at reasonable rates for our four Bernese Mountain Dogs. Have submitted three claims in the two years I've had the policies, and they have been processed quickly and accurately with no surprises. Embrace personnel have been extremely friendly and helpful at every stage. I'm extremely satisfied and highly recommend Embrace Pet Insurance.

Simply the BEST!

I had the pleasure of knowing Dr. Stephens back in the 80's when pet insurance was unheard of. He has done a remarkable job in not only the veterinary field but now the insurance field. I have kept up with the other pet insurance programs and none can beat the quality and care that you receive from Pets Best! Thank you for being there! (Rating a "9" simply because I don't believe any company can have a perfect "10" - but 9.5 would be more like it!)

Worth The money.

I mostly got this insurance for the wellness plan. It is worth it because it pays for virtually all of my dog's yearly care, including teeth cleanings and preventative care(such as heartguard). All of the claims I have submitted are complete with the check in my hand in less than 2 weeks.

i love it

i wasnt sure at first but im am so glad i got this for rascal and mikie , this is a god send for me, and i have been telling everyone about embrace pet ins, i was wondering though my vet wants info on it and i have a few people interested to, and want to know if you have flyers or information i can give them . we thank you from the bottom of our hearts me and my cats.

Best Customer Service

I recently had a billing issue that was corrected immediately by Chris Hagesfeld, including follow-up email and postal mail responses. Chris provided a level of customer service that would be hard to beat. As a newer policy holder, I've yet to make an insurance claim, but based on Chris' professionalism, I'm confident I've chosen the right pet insurer.

such a relief!

Even though I was purchasing vet quality food and doing everything right, my 4 year old cat wound up with a blockage of his urinary tract on a saturday afternoon. I had been paying into a policy on him for about 3 years and was starting to consider just not bothering it with anymore. Thank god I kept it! Petsecure was great about the claim. I had my cheque in under 10 days. I had called to check on it and the claims adjuster that I spoke to was very polite and patient and asked me how Inky was doing as well. I felt very comfortable with the whole process and am happy that I kept the policy because now if there is any further problems I will have coverage. I think that it is seriously one of the best things that you can do for your pets, and looking back, what I paid for it during the time he was healthy definitely benefited him when I really needed it when he got sick.

Absolutely wonderful Customer Service

I have had 2 types of plans with ASPCA. I had an emergency plan that I didn't think I'd ever use. Unfortuntately, it came in quite useful when my cat became seriously ill, and ultimately passed at only 1 year of age. The customer reps that I contacted both online and by phone were very helpful and supportive. I purchased another contract for my new kitten, and have also experienced wonderful service. My questions are answered promptly, and claims are handled in an efficient manner. I would and will purchase again.

What a Wonderful Experience!

Embrace has been nothing short of fabulous as we've coped with our dogs surgeries and rehab. They are prompt to respond to emails, quick to provide confirmation that they have received information, friendly, helpful... I cannot say enough positive things about our experience. They honestly exceeded my expectations. I've just recommended them to our dog walker who has not had a good experience with her own pet insurance company. I'm hoping she'll spread the word throughout our neighborhood.
