All staff I ever dealt with were professional, kind and knowledgeable. Receipt reimbursement was fast, efficient and easy. The only drawback was the exclusions which included office visits and were $150 a visit for specialists so several of those I was paying for. Also, directly related to her anal cancer was lots of blood for a year and incontinence toward the end and I needed all waterproof sheets and pillowcases and lots of pee-pee pads always underneath her and none of that was covered. They did cover cbd oil which was good. Still, overall loved Trupanion.

All reasonably healthy pets should be insured. I'd never want to have to euthanize my pet(s) because I couldn't afford the care they needed. So many people blame the veterinarians that work so hard to care for our animals, when the cost of treatment is not their fault. An animal's best bet in a medical emergency is to receive all recommended veterinary treatment and my Trupanion policy makes sure I can afford that, should my pets ever need it.

Healthy Paws Pet Insurance was fantastic. They are affordable, processed claims quickly and made reimbursement payment within weeks. And they followed up to inquire about the health of our injured pet. Couldn't ask for more! And the pup is doing great!

Six months of fighting and 3 supportive vet letters before they paid a covered claim
Healthy Paws is terrible. It took 6 months, an insurance investigation, and multiple letters from treating veterinarians to overturn claims adjuster's completely unsubstantiated speculation my dog's pneumonia might have been related to a pre-existing condition. They will try to wear you out with multiple denial letters, vague rejection codes, refusal to provide accountable individuals (or last names, or phone numbers, or emails), until you give up or, as happened with me, make it clear you are willing to file a State oversight complaint.

Trupanion always comes through
I filed my claim a few days ago and already have a confirmation that the claim will be covered for exactly the amount I expected. Trupanion honors its policies, and I know I can always count on them without having to fight for a claim to be accepted. I wish my own health insurance were as affordable, comprehensive, and efficient as Trupanion.

Trupanion really stands by their policy and pays out everything it says it will, they are excellent!!! And kind and caring too!!
I highly recommend Trupanion to everyone who has a beloved family 4 legged friend. They stand 100% behind what their policy states, and cover all service they say they will cover. My premium every month is very reasonable to know that my dog who is part of the family is covered with fabulous insurance. If you need help , you can call and someone is always available, kind, caring and courteous, and professional to walk you through the claims process. Highly recommend Trupanion to all my friends, I already do, and to anyone else looking to ease their mind incase of a major pet EMERGENCY .

Excellent!
Embrace made an extremely stressful situation much less so. They were so helpful when our dog's opthomologist's office was dragging their feet about getting our claim forms back to us. The app is so simple to use, and our claim was processed extremely quickly. I highly recommend!

Efficient, Honest and Caring
Five weeks ago, our 10 year-old Springer tore her rear knee ACL so badly it disconnected. She needed reconstruction surgery. We were incredibly stressed about her safety, our ability to care for her when she came home, and also the cost. It has been so much easier than we expected, largely because of Healthy Paws Health Insurance. When I called them to check coverage, they assured me that unless it was a pre-existing condition, there would be no problem. They told us not to worry, that Healthy Paws was there to relieve us of stress, not increase it. Since our girl has been insured since she was less than a year old we were relieved. The surgery was expensive, and we were reimbursed exactly as we hoped, within days of submitting the bills. We have enjoyed their efficiency and courtesy for ten years of mostly mundane and minor health issues (foxtails, UTI infections, allergies...) Their processing system is extremely streamlined and user friendly. We find their newsletters informational. And their customer service all these years has convinced us that they actually care about our girl. They have never let us down, but this time they really had our backs - and we deeply appreciate it. If you are thinking of getting pet insurance, look no further than Healthy Paws.
