Processing Claims takes forever.
I think it takes way too long for Pets Best to process claims. Every. Single. Time. I get an email apologizing for the delay in processing my claim. If you have time to send that email you have time to process my claim. It is not very difficult. For this reason alone, I would never recommend Pets Best to another pet owner.

Worth the money
I got insurance for my three dogs and just paid for the year upfront. Two of my dogs needed dentals this month to extract broken teeth and with just those procedures they both met their deductible and I got reimbursed for a portion of it.

I highly recommend Trupanion for Pet…
I highly recommend Trupanion for Pet insurance. They research claims quickly and usually pay their share in less than a week. They are compassionate and understanding when you talk to them on the phone and when we recently had to euthanize one of our dogs, they picked up part of the cost for that service, which I did not expect to be the case. I have been with Trupanion for more than 15 years and I would not consider changing firms.

DO NOT GET THIS INSURANCE
DO NOT GET THIS INSURANCE! ITS A WASTE OF MONEY! If I could give 0 stars I would. We submitted a claim for my dog and they took OVER A MONTH to get back in contact with us, the only reason they did was because we continued to call with rarely having our phone calls even answered. After waiting this whole time they kept giving us the run around and then told us they wouldn’t be giving us any money that we spent at the vet and claimed with them. They wasted our time and money and took advantage of our business. We canceled immediately and I will be sure to let all of my friends and family know not to get this insurance!!
