Best decision I made was to sign up when We 1st brought GG home as a puppy. She later developed seizures. Having Trupanion insurance has allowed us to provide first class care for her allowing us to keep her happy and healthy for these last 10 years.

Excellent care and service! The staff REALLY makes the difference!! Bethany was ABSOLUTELY wonderful!! Such a pleasure to speak with her recently. Everyone I have had to speak with, especially the MOST difficult situation when my "baby" was diagnosed with cancer after being misdiagnosed by our local vet, has been fantastic! I knew something was right but they wouldn't listen to me, even though I am a certified critical nurse, in the people world! VERY frustrating to say the least and emotional but your staff was wonderful - caring, compassionate, and empathetic throughout our conversations!!

I am very impressed with the help I received and the promptness. My emails were answered very quickly and my issue was taken care the next day. Trupanion took care of calling my vet for additional info they needed, making things very easy for me. I am truly overwhelmed with the kindness they showed me and their generosity in taking care of my issue. Because of this I will only use Trupanion for my beloved pets from now on.

Great coverage for the price.
I have submitted two claims for two surgeries my Shih Tzu has had in the past year and Trupanion was a wonderful company to work with. I submitted a predetermination claim for the estimated procedures from the vet so I knew up front if surgeries would be covered. After the surgeries, I submitted actual claims via email and both claims were paid promptly (within a few days each time). I would recommend Trupanion to anyone who wants to carry insurance on their pet. I will say I have found premiums have increased a couple of time since I acquired it in 2018 but I guess that is to be expected. I still feel it has been well worth the cost.
