In late 2014 I took Embrace Policies out on my two 7 year old pugs. Two months after taking out the policy my female developed diabetes and became 70% blind within a matter of days, and just recently had to have cataract surgery in both eyes. With Embrace the decision to provide a good quality of life for here was easy. The claims have been paid promptly relieving the financial stress.

So far so good with Pets Best and their new ways of doing things. I have an elderly dog and am conservative but he has had many issues. So far I have not had an issue. So far they have been just as good as the other companies I have delt with who in the past did seem much more prone to pay claims.But you can be sure knowing and understanding how all this works, I will let everyone know what happens in the future. I get more confident each year that they are living up to their new claims and are as reliable as the other companies. I feel it is important the public know and reviews with follow ups are important. So when they buy insurance they have an accurate idea what to expect. So far my dog is older, he has had some major issues and they have paid. Will keep updating.

My dog recently had two tumors removed, and Trupanion handled the claim quickly and professionally. They kept me updated at every stage of the review process, covered exactly what they said they would, and had my check on its way to me within a week of receiving the claim. My cat has been seen since aug of 2014 for anal gland issues. Vet says that they are defective and not emptying on their own. Trupanion does not cover expression which is really terrible saying that it's maintenance. It really isn't. My cat has had infections because of this. They will cover that but not expression to prevent the infection from happening again. Doesn't make sense. I've called twice now and still they won't cover it.
