Healthy Paws took care of us!
Healthy Paws has been a lifesaver for us! A few weeks ago our nine year old labradoodle tore her CCL while chasing a squirrel. Our vet referred us to a surgeon at Blue pearl surgical center. We found out the surgery would be $3800. I was relieved to have been smart enough to purchase pet insurance years ago. However, the surgical center required payment up front. Healthy Paws saved the day with their direct pay option. Once they received the estimate invoice, they communicated directly with surgical center and payment was made the day following surgery! The surgical center added Healthy Paws to their list of insurances to receive direct pay from. Amazing service! I can’t say enough about how completely seamless they made this stressful situation. They took over and took care of us while we took care of our sweet Annabelle! Healthy Paws is the best!!!

I used Healthy Paws for surgery on my dog. The process was fast and easy. The customer care agents were very knowledgeable and caring. They paid my claim directly to Healthy Paws. Our dear pup suffered a root canal recently, and we were very impressed with the ease of submitting and the rapid response to our claim. From emailing the claim receipts to receiving a check took less than one week! We also much appreciated the concern the Healthy Paws staff showed in their follow-up contact to see how Bisou was doing. Compassionate and efficient service!

We thought Healthy Paws was a great insurance because our claims get approved quickly and AT FIRST it was very affordable but going on our 3rd year now they have increased our premium $100 the second year and now $60 this third year. We started paying $58 a month and now we will need to pay $200. In the middle of a pandemic, how do they expect people to afford this? I assume it’s because of the amount of claims we have filed for our dog yet their policy CLEARLY states they don’t raise premiums for filing claims. I am enraged that I have to pay more in premiums for my dog than I do for myself and that this company thinks it’s okay to triple your premium in 2 years.
