Always the best experience.
Always easy and quick to claim. A few times an error has been made but it’s rectified quickly. I always recommend Trupanion to everyone with a furry friend. Also Star is amazing.

Help with saving pup
With my little min pin girl they have been great with covering her diagnoses, I have been able to work with my vet and narrow down her problem. We are now working on a fix or at least manage the issue so she can live a comfortable, long happy life , she is only 2 years old. Without this policy I would never have been able to help her....

Extremely easy and fast submitting claims especially when using their app. Sometimes the claim is completed within the same day and direct deposited into my bank account on file. Rarely need to have any correspondence with anyone.

Frustrating
Don’t waste your time with this company. They are extremely frustrating to deal with when processing a claim. Reached out to my vet 3 times to send additional information and they still will not process my claim. Spoke with customer service, he was extremely nice, and seemed helpful at the time. A week later they still will not process the claim. I should have known pet insurance is just a big scam.

Your insurance should be called catastrophic insurance because you don't seem to include practically anything no preventative care no office visits no vaccines not pre-existing conditions.
Your insurance should be called catastrophic insurance because you don't seem to include practically anything, no preventative care, no office visits, no vaccines, not pre-existing conditions. In last 3 years I've paid out close to $7000 + in premiums and nothing to show for it. I could have saved/invested that money and did better than the service you provide. If I do not get my recent claims reimbursed I am seriously looking at canceling my service with you. I have been a Trupanion customer for around 5 years +. This calculates to around $10K in premiums. Human policies don't have the restrictions you place and yet you think it's ok to place as many obstacles in your policies that make it almost impossible to collect back anything. Totally disenchanted with you all.
