Misleading
You did not mention the $2.00 monthly fee. You took the 1st month payment from my account and the policy does not take effect until April 7th. Cancel immediately. I will advise my credit card company to not approve of the initial billing

AWESOME!!!
Trupanion has been wonderful to work with. We purchased the policy for our Irish Wolfhounds after experiencing the loss of our first Wolfhound and learning how quickly medical costs can add up. The claims process if so easy to navigate and Trupanion's response is lightning quick! I would definitely recommend them to anyone with pets!

Great coverage
I purchased ASPCA insurance but was unable to use it because the former owner wanted his dog back. He picked her up less than a week after selling her to me, however the ASPCA staff were extremely understanding when I called to cancel. I plan to have another puppy in June and will definitely look to ASPCA for insurance.

Healthy Paws have been absolutely incredible! They process claims quickly and thoroughly. It has been worth every penny - especially when our dog needed emergency surgery that would have cost us over $5,000. Our dog has needed two separate surgeries and we have received a personalized email following up on his recovery each time. All representatives have been friendly and extremely helpful.

My dog had an accident and my claim was denied.
I purchased accident only insurance. My dog fell off of my bed, which caused her to throw out her back. I took her to the emergency vet where they did X-rays and gave me pain meds and anti inflammatory meds for her. They said as pets get older it’s easier for their discs to get knocked out of place. I understand that she is older and is more prone to this, but she didn’t just wake up in pain. She had a fall. That’s what accident insurance is for, and yet I paid the $870 vet bill out of pocket and won’t be receiving anything from the pet insurance claim. I have since canceled my policy, because what is the point of paying for it if they won’t reimburse your expenses?

This is by far the worst insurance company out there. They lied to me and now I have a $11,000 bill. Lie, lie, and more lies. This is the best advise I can give anyone. DO NOT BUY THIS INSURANCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
