Trupanion has been amazing covering Otis's medical treatments. We signed up with you in 2011 and it gave me peace of mind to know that if Otis ever got cancer we could afford to treat him with Trupanion on our side, but I never thought it would actually happen. Otis is our best friend, our furry child, and we would have lost him last year if not for Trupanion. We know our time with him is limited, but we are so grateful for the time we currently have with him because of the amazing doctors and of course Trupanion's coverage.

Disappointed.
Unsure I will share or recommend Trupanion at this time. Our first claim was rejected. Our plan doesn't include preexisting conditions, and our bank account doesn't allow for an upgrade to get that coverage. We have a rescue and we have no real way of knowing if there are any previously diagnosed similar issues to this particular one we recently went through. Your staff determined our dog has preexisting skin conditions and therefore won't pay a bill. I will warn anyone looking for insurance from this company about this subtle discrepancy. I think rescue animals should get a little more grace when it comes to coverage. I'm disappointed.
