MetLife has been amazing

MetLife has been amazing! We’ve had it for years and used it for an annual check ups and periodic scratches and stuff like that. And now that my dog is older, they have really been there for us as his health declines. The customer service representatives are always so kind and helpful. I recommend MetLife to all my friends with pets.

I had the pleasure of working with Aileen Andino and I couldn’t be more thankful for her. She helped me tremendously along the way in getting the best pet insurance plan I could get for my dog Charlie. She definitely deserve a pay raise!!

Pumpkin- Easy to Understand Policy

Pumpkin provides transparent and easy to understand policies. It's easy to understand is covered by insurance and what isn't. From a cost standpoint, they offer a tremendous variation of affordable options; with the opportunity to add on wellness plans too. Overall, a great experience and amazing customer service!

Well I don’t know what to think because for one thing I can’t get in my app every time I try to login in it tell me that’s is not the right password and I have changed it more than once. I have not heard about getting in my money back on the kodys vet bill So I really don’t know how to rate anything.

Frustrated

I’ve been with MetLife Pet Insurance for several years and have never had any issues—until now. Lately, every time I speak with a customer service rep, I get different information. I’ve also been told I need to wait three business days just to speak with a supervisor. When I submit a claim, instead of being notified that additional info is needed, the claim gets closed. Then the only way to reopen it is by filing an appeal that must be signed by my vet—which is a lot of extra work that could easily be avoided with a quick email or call. These claims are expensive, and waiting months for reimbursement is incredibly frustrating. I really hope the process improves, starting with easier access to supervisors—maybe even offering scheduled callback times instead of playing phone tag. It would make a huge difference. I truly miss how this company used to be.

I very disappointed in this company my…

I very disappointed in this company my one year old English bulldog ended up with aspiration pneumonia and was very sick . We took him to an animal hospital because he started vomiting on a Sunday and his vet office was closed. They kepted telling us how Expensive the bill was going to be we understood all of that told them he had insurance they were happy to know that. He had one overnight stay and had to be in an oxygen box to help with his breathing. We found comfort in knowing we had him on insurance when this happened only when I submitted everything and it was denied for us to get anything back. We was going to renew his policy but not after finding out that won't cover any of this bill!!! Update I have called them very Frustrated wondering why and the lady informed me that they needed a an invoice of every single thing and was charged. Well that was the one thing I didn't have so then I had to call the animal hospital and they sent it email to me and I emailed that to them have yet to hear if they're going to do anything with that since they claimed that was the reason they denied our claim.
