Called for information on submitting a claim, as I had never used the insurance before. Amanda was beyond helpful. She thoroughly explained each step of the way, and made sure that I knew exactly what to do, Stellar customer service. I felt like I was chatting with an old friend, that’s how comfortable I was with her. She is definitely the type of person I’d want representing my business. Bottom line - gives a fighting chance
Bottom line, Trupanion gave us a chance to fight cancer. Trupanion gave my soul dog Arthur a fighting chance against cancer at 7 years old. When he got sick, I was terrified and heartbroken. But the claim process was simple and completely stress-free. No paperwork, no delays, no fighting on the phone. They paid the vet directly so I could focus 100% on Arthur, not on bills. Arthur has left us, but I’ll always be appreciative that Trupanion gave my Arthur the opportunity to fight back. They gave us more good days, more tail wags, more time together. I'll be forever grateful they gave us a chance to fight back. These guys are ok in my book. Best decision I ever made for my soul dog. Do not hesiate to trust Trupanion.

Old dog with lots of issues
My dog has had his fair share of issues. Over past 5 years or so he has had neck surgery, and TPLO surgery on both knees. Now he's is dealing with typical aging issues. Through it all pets best has been great in meeting their commitments. They were also great to deal with for my other dog whom passed away in late 2024. Would highly recommend for peace of mind.

Pets Best was very economical for us to when another company raised our rate quite a bit at renewal. And when our beagle had a very serious health issue and was hospitalized back and forth for almost 2 weeks but did not survive, Pets Best was seriously the best. The reimbursement process was simple and timely. If I had to choose again, I would choose Pets Best.

Ease of claims
Pets Best has been great for the claims I’ve had with my dog Simba. He has allergies that affect his eyes and when I take him to the veterinarian and then submit my claims. They are easy to submit and I get paid back rather quickly.
First claim
"I submitted my first claim and heard back from Pet's Best almost immediately. It was so easy to file online. I already received a check ( I'll sign up for direct deposit now) and it reimbursed me for almost the whole amount of my vet's visit. What it did not cover it explained why which I already knew from reading my policy. "
