Our five year old Australian Shepherd had to have x-rays for a knee injury and although she didn't require surgery for her knee, it was discovered while looking at her x-rays that she had bladder stones. She had surgery to remove them and is recovering well. It was very stressful, but it was an immense relief to know that most of her medical bills would be covered by Healthy Paws Pet Insurance. Never having used it before I wasn't sure what our experience would be. I have a growing puppy that got kennel cough, rolled his wrist and wouldn't eat. Being a first time pet owner, each of these events sent me promptly to the vet. It was comforting to know that, amongst all of the stress involved, costs would not be one of them. Getting Embrace for my puppy was a smart decision. I would advise any pet owner to do the same.

My pup chewed up a Sago Palm, which I know know is extremely toxic to dogs with a low survival rate. This happened on one of the few days that I haven't been able to get home at lunch and check on her. After a call to the vet and poison control it was clear that I had no option but to take her to the ER. For anyone that has been through this, you know how stressful and expensive it can be. What made it a bit less stressful was knowing that she was covered by Embrace!!! After our final visit, 5 days after her admittance to the hospital, I gathered the 7 invoices, and faxed it along with the pet specific claim form they had readily available for me to download. The claim status and progress is readily available for viewing on their site so you know it is moving along. I made one phone call just to make sure they had everything they needed and was told that they were currently being updated with an approval status. I received emails later that day letting me know my reimbursement had been processed and that it should be direct deposited in 1-2 business days. It was in my account the following day! This is an effortless process and I urge everyone to have their pets insured!

Our beautiful little Westie, Molly, suffers from chronic allergies and Trupanion has been absolutely wonderful with her medication reimbursements once we met our deductible. She recently became very ill, we were at the vets office a few times in one day. We submitted another claim for her not knowing if anything would be re-imbursible, and again, Trupanion was just great. We met another deductible and received over $200 back. I can't say enough about this insurance, they are the best. Very easy to deal with and always respond in a timely manner. The staff seems to genuinely care about Molly's health and condition. I would recommend Trupanion to everyone!!!!
