Excellent

Our 11 yr old Golden Retriever had severe vomiting and diarrhea. He had blood tests, scan, x-ray, hospitalization intensive and regular.We had the Trupanion forms filled out, sent in our claim and in a short period we had confirmation of our claims, followed by detailed information as to payment of our claims. Excellent service and follow up of our dogs condition as well. We have had his insurance since he was a puppy and will continue as long as our pension and his life span allows. Bravo excellent service, Would have given a 10 as there is always remove for some kind of improvement...

Great Pet Insurance ! Wort

This is my first time getting pet insurance although this is the third dog that I have owned. I was always apprehensive about its worth ( now I'll never be without it ). After getting my new puppy I researched the various insurance companies. I then went with Embrace. I have had a few claims , they are always handled quickly. My last claim was settled in 8 days which is great. The customer service staff is always helpful and courteous. I am very happy with Embrace so far and I recommend this company without reservation.

my dog has better insurance than I do

My dog is covered for so much, I'm jealous. He's got acupuncture, chiropractic, medical, and he even has his supplements paid for. It's kind of depressing, actually, to take him in to the vet and watch him get such amazing treatment paid for by his insurance, while I'm restricted in what I can do for my kids.

Healthy Paws offers superior coverage for seniors

In 2012, when I chose Healthy Paws for my cats, it was after having dome a fair amount of research. At the time, Healthy Paws was one of the few insurers that would cover older pets, such as my then 12 year old female cat. Healthy Paws was also the only insurer that I found, at that time, to offer continuous coverage for older pets. For those who are unfamiliar with insurance jargon, continuous coverage means that illnesses or injuries that show up while a pet is covered, will continue to be covered as long as the policy is in force, (as long as the pet is alive, and the premiums are paid.) Insurance plans that do not offer continuous coverage will generally cover a disease for the policy term in which the disease is diagnosed, but will consider the disease a pre-existing condition when the policy is renewed at the next term, usually the next year. What this means in real life is that a pet that develops diabetes, for instance, will have the diabetes covered for a year with a non-continuous coverage policy. The next year, after the policy is renewed, the diabetes will no longer be covered. Healthy Paws' continuous coverage plans are worth seeking, because they allow pet parents to keep giving their pets high quality care year after year, not just for the first year after something pops up. Excellent, fast, courteous, caring company!

Trupanion is a wonderful company that truly puts our pet care and customer care as their top priority. Once I checked my dog out from the hospital, it wasn't even a hour before hearing from Trupanion. We are so happy with their genuine concern and communication !

The BEST insurance company EVER!!!

My dog is old and my claim was high! It was for orthopedic surgery. No hassle, no sweat! The people at this company are terrific! Even better, quite professional and competent. The company lives up to it's promise. I couldn't be more pleased with the service and reimbursement. I truly wish human insurance companies were as well run! I promised my best friend I would always give him the best care I possibly could and this company made that possible.

Wellness claims and customer service

Run away!

The people there are polite, but the are also not good serving customers. I signed my puppy up for coverage, and i was led to believe that medications would be covered. I found out later that prescriptions were not covered in my plan, and that i had to sign up for a separate prescription plan, but as my dog now has preexisting conditions none of them would be covered. When I asked why this was never explained to my when i called to sign up and why i was never even presented with the option to sign up for the prescription plan (which given i asked for their most complete plan would have made sense) they said it was my fault. In summary they are a horrible company that takes advantage of their customers!
