Trupanion has been better than I ever…
Trupanion has been better than I ever could have imagined! We will be a member for life with all of my animals! My dog had bilateral cruciate injuries and trupanion paid the vet directly which took a lot of stress away. Trupanion response time is amazing and their evaluation of claims is efficient and fair. We love Trupanion!!!

Reliable
I have never been disappointed by Trupanion. I had 2 boxers one of which we lost after a painful battle with cancer. Many tests and treatments, thousands of dollars. We never had to wait, we were not challenged ever. Made the process doable and made our family feel we had done all we could. Same with the day to day care of Tyson. Always reliable, no delays. It’s really important that any insurance company does their job in that manner and this is one of the few that do. Better than my own insurance!

Knee surgery made easy
Our German Shepherd tore his CCL and needed surgery. Healthy Paws made it easy so we could focus on helping him recover. Just snap pictures of the doctor’s receipts and they do the rest. It’s nice to know they are there to cover you in times of need.

I have a 11 years old Jack Russell
I have a 11 years old Jack Russell. Jack Russells are known to have intestinal problems so I started insurance immediately with Pets Best in 2010. I included the Wellness plan.It helped with his yearly checkups getting a portion of the money back. For the last 5 months my baby has been going through doctor visits medication for diarrhea allergies just a ton of symptoms.Ultra sound finding Cancer in stomach.My Vet said it was a continuing problem since December and thats why we did the Ultra sound. Everytime I submitted a claim I was advised it would take a few weeks for reimbursement. OK,I get that with Covid but I have put out over $1000.00 since this started and all claims came back saying they are single incidents and I am still paying my deductible of $500.00. I need an explanation, I spoke to a representative a month ago and she was kind,took my concerns but never got back to me. I pay 51.60 a month for This insurance. Multiple that by 12 and x11yrs(close to $7000.00).Got a first payback from The Ultrasound around $200.00.I paid $460.00,plus The blood tests alone are $129.00,and they will be reoccurring every 2 weeks,medications plus vet prescription food. I have a $2700. limit per incident. This is my 3rd request for a callback. I can't make a recommendation for Pets Best if you don't cover my expenses, now when I need it. Sincerely

They are the best when it comes to paying your claims. I have had Trupanion for a few years now, and they live up to their promise of payment.It’s a very good feeling to know they are right there when you have unexpected expense for your pet

im mad
i pay over sixty dollars a month for this and out of a 593 dollar bill only thirty dollars was covered. i have insurance so i dont have to worry about huge medical bills like this because i have very little money to spare but apparently its not that helpful also they dont cover spay/neuter

Convenient and great value
I’m so glad that I chose to keep the pet insurance for this dog. The Veterinary clinic automatically submits all claims so there is no extra paperwork to do at home. The only suggestion I would make is that trupanion increases the detail on the claim report so that i would see a line by line breakdown that reflects each charge from the veterinary bill.
