I switched to Lemonade
I switched to Lemonade. The reason why - Without any claims filed for 3 years, my premium went up by 70%. Most of all, I experienced difficulties canceling the policy. As instructed, a written cancellation request was submitted but then it wasn't canceled. Instead, i received an email saying that I need to log into my online account to complete the cancel process. I logged in but then it says to submit a written request by email. God..I had to call the customer service and finally connected with them after a 10 minutes wait.

The claim was easy using the app. Customer support was friendly. Payout explanations were detailed. Payout chqs arrived fast. No hassle. Exactly what you would want from an insurance company. Waiting for Trupanion to branch out into car insurance as they’d revolutionize it. :)
