Paid over 135 a month for two years and when my dog needed treatment for a grade 1 heart murmur they declined coverage, waste of time

Literally a Life Saver
Our wonderful pup, Bean, has struggled mightily with health issues since she we got her at 8 weeks. Both the normal illnesses that dogs struggle with, ear infections, etc. but about 2 years ago she was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease that took both her eyes at the very young age of 3.5. Without our Healthy Paws insurance I don’t know if we couldn’t given her the best treatment. Today she is the happiest, most resilient puppy around and we owe such a debt to Healthy Paws. In addition, the process for reimbursement is so easy and fast I often ask myself why human medical insurance isn’t as easy.! Great company and highly recommended to any pet owner!

I’m not so sure about this company…
I’m not so sure about this company especially after reading their reviews. I bought a policy 5 years ago for my new pup and the great news is that I have not had the need to use it. I can afford the premiums so will continue. If in case I do have a claim in the future and have any sort of problem with this outfit I shall report same. I will state something that slightly troubles me, I have Never received any formal declaration page-information, only base promises via an advertisement pamphlet and very polite customer service representatives who explain over the telephone the same. If I do in fact have any legitimate claim in the future which is declined I shall sue. Very simple.

Sign up was easy and options were great!
The representative who signed me up was extremely helpful and addressed all my questions. There are tremendous flexibility with payment options and deductible options. Plus, having unlimited lifetime payouts with just one deductible for each diagnosis really was appealing. (Wish my human healthcare was set up that way.) I was given some time to decide on payment options. Overall the signup process on the phone was easy and handled very professionally and the options were excellent.

Thank goodness
Thank goodness I got insurance for my puppy as soon as I brought him home! You just never know what life brings you, my puppy was seven months old when he got really sick from an inflamed lymph node. The bill added up so quickly in three days I had already accumulated over $8000, I was able to begin the claim as soon as he was admitted and the ease of communication with Lemonade was bar none and they were also able to communicate directly with The hospital my little guy was staying at. I could not be more grateful for them and their understanding during that hard time, the last thing I wanted to deal with was insurance but the ease made it so much easier! Please, please, please get insurance for your pet.
