I am a long time PB customer
I am a long time PB customer, 8 years, three dogs. Overall PB is great, but in the last few years they have taken much longer to process my claims. Don’t know why because they are all within the parameters of my policies. Also my premiums have greatly increased, doubled in the last couple years. Therefore only three stars. Years ago they would have earned 5.

I picked a plan that would work for my Australian Shepherd because I know in the past dogs can get really expensive when the time comes. It’s very worth it you get the plan to include wellness not just emergencies because you get some money back and that is always better than nothing.

Pet's Best has been wonderful to work with. They process my claims quickly, and if it is taking a little longer than normal (pandemic related, or course), they always email me and let me know. Coco and I will stick with them!

Trupanion has been a great investment for our dog Bentley. They process claims promptly and I have rarely had any issues. Even when there was a concern, it was easy to get someone on the phone and get the situation resolved. My vet was also able to get pre-approval from Trupanion for a major surgery in less than five minutes! Bentley would have crossed the rainbow bridge if we did not have Trupanion to help with the expenses. I am so thankful!

Helpful for first time dog mom
This was my first time having pet insurance so I was really pleasantly surprised that I had this experience. They warned me the process would take a few weeks and it did but nothing bad and the explanation of benefits and my repayment was very clear.
