I wasn't sure that insurance was worth it but on the first visit I paid $249 Embrace reemburshed me $150 of that, which is great. They didn't give me more I guess due to the fact that one charge was a fecal test at $70 so its all good. I have 90% and $100 deductable.

My friend told me great things about this insurance so I called to get information. Rebecca was very knowledgeable, listened to my questions and we signed up right away . Rebecca was extremely patient and friendly, which is rare these days.

Do not work with Lemonade

I adopted a rescue dog and immediately took her to the vet. She displayed some itchiness. The vet thought that it was caused by fleas/whatever she was exposed to as a stray. I got pet insurance a few weeks later and was a loyal customer with Lemonade for a year. ONE YEAR LATER, my dog had some stomach issues. She was given medicine and had a stool sample taken. The vet still doesn't know what caused it, but suspects an allergy to food. I sent in my first claim after a year of paying dues to Lemonade. They deny it. They say that since food allergy COULD be a potential diagnosis and since it has the word "allergy" in it, then it is a pre-existing condition, since itchiness from a year earlier COULD also retrospectively be caused by some sort of allergy. Absolutely unacceptable. I feel so powerless.

No pressure to sign up, answered all my questions

Excellent representative. Knew answers to my questions, never had to go check with someone else and get back to me which I appreciated. I had reviewed about 8 other pet insurance companies, and I am pleased with my coverage and payment amounts.
