A godsend for a dog w cancer diagnosis

A godsend- after one pet where we spent >$15k in specialty services without having this our next pup I signed up for right away. At first it may have seemed a costly premium for my large dog- with really nothing to compare it too- but turned out to be a lifesaver - first to help us get a UTI under control - and secondly and more importantly - it helped us get treatment for his lymphoma without making us wonder how we would pay for it. Pet insurance is really a must especially for any large dogs as care goes up as the dogs get bigger, and even though I need to submit the invoices myself claims and their decisions and payments have always been quick and clearly communicated. My only wish is that standard policies would cover alternative care. My pets care team includes a naturopath who does chiropractic treatments and we have thought about adding the rider o cover it but when we do the math it would be more expensive than what we pay for it without coverage.

Worth every penny!

My Healthy Paws insurance has be worth every penny spent. I recommend it to everyone I know. I pay $85 a month ($200 deductible, 80% coverage) for my 7 year old Yorkie and $60 a month ($200 deductible, 90% coverage) for my 2 year old yorkie. I have had a reason to use my insurance every year I’ve had it and the process to file a claim is incredibly easy and painless. I wish my own health insurance were that easy! And anyone I've ever had to interact with at healthy paws has been very kind and easy to work with. Recently my 7 year old yorkie had 2 night stay at the animal hospital after a nasty stomach issue, and I was completely devastated. But I had peace of mind knowing she was getting the very best care and that her treatment and stay would be covered. I even got a follow up email from healthy paws customer service staff checking in on how she was doing, which was so thoughtful. Highly recommend you get healthy paws insurance as early as possible, you’ll be grateful you have it.

Outstanding service and very easy to submit claims. You can chose your deductible and reimbursement rate. Has saved us over $10,000 because of 2 ACL surgery and Also Allergies. Can’t recommend Healthy Paws enough.

Amazing customer service

We are so happy that your Healthy Paws plan could play a part in assuring that our Roo had access to the best available medical care. Claims were processed quickly. Unfortunately, we couldn't save our little Roo after almost 2 months of treatments. I received emails asking how Roo was doing and after she passed the company mailed a sympathy card. Above & beyond. I'm a Healthy Paws customer for life.

God-sent

When my dog Teddy got sick suddenly, I was mortified. Not knowing what was wrong was even worse. Then the worst news - my little Teddy Bear was so sick, he needed to be hospitalized.
