Seamless claim experience!
Claim experience was virtually seamless, as our vet sent in our dog's dental quote for pre-authorization. Now we just pay the uncovered amount, so we're not out of pocket. I would give a "10", but there's always room to improve. ;-)

The claim process was not the problem the decision to deny my claim was. We received our puppy on July 18, 2020. She was born on April 30, 2020. The person we got her from had her vaccinations up to that point administered by her vet. The vet also did a blood test and recommended we have an acid bile test when we got her home. At no time was a diagnosis made. There still has not been a diagnosis. We have a new puppy and have insurance to make sure any of her needs are taken care of. It is very disappointing that our claim was denied. I don’t believe it was a fair decision. We will be cancelling our policy since it was absolutely useless.

Don't Bother!
After 11 years of paying premiums (over $4,000!) Pets Plus Us denied my very first claim - because my dog's surgery was not the result of an accident (getting hit by a car appears to be all they will cover). What a waste of good money and this company has no compassion whatsoever!
