Totally happy!!!Teddy Bear would have to find employment without Trupanion.

I have been very impressed with PetPlusUs. Luckily, my 8 week old Golden Retriever came with a 6 week free starter trial with PetPlusUs. Within 3 days of him being home, he became very sick with puppy strangles. This wound up costing me well over $700 and treatment is still ongoing. He is now 14 weeks old. I was able to utilize their 24/hr Emergency Help Phone when he first became sick and they were extremely helpful. After the trial expired, I was given a free month of complimentary coverage in return for signing up for their full policy. I have yet to pay a cent to this company as this complimentary month has not ended, but I have already received a payment from them. Currently, they have processed just over $550 worth of claims and I have been reimbursed $345. Their representatives are extremely courteous, and I was very pleased when they called during my trial period to inquire about my new puppy and provide me with more information about their coverage. I would highly recommend PetPlusUs. Although I was skeptical that I would ever get a payout with any pet insurance company, they have proven me wrong!

Our dog started vomiting and having blood in her poop. We had several trips to the vet and some over night stays. We were eventually sent to specialist. There were so many test done and changes in foods. It was a very stressful time. It started early February and lasted into March. It turned out to be Inflammatory bowel disease. Owning a Lab, we got the insurance because we figured she would eat something or get bad hips, never did we expect this at 2 1/2 years old! Embrace was so easy to deal with. We were able to get pre certified for the visit at the Animal Specialist which was costly and that made getting the money back easy quick. Everyone was so helpful and nice. We have the wellness plan as well, and it looks like we will use every bit of it each year with this new condition...and to think we thought about canceling the insurance this year! Thank Goodness we didn't! Peter is awesome!!

I think of my pet insurance coverage payments like a savings account for my pets' health needs. I normally don't need it, but when I do it saves my animal and I both a great deal of heartache and pain. My Diva girl was diagnosed with hepatic lymphoma. She was very ill so I called Trupanion and ask if they could fast track reviewing records to see if this claim is approved. Within 2 days they had an approval for my beautiful girl. I was going to get her chemo, but her cancer was a T cell and t isn't as responsive as B cell. I decided not to put her through I. Se was in great pain so I decided to euthanize her to give her peace. Trupanion paid her claims within 1 day of being submitted. This isn't the first time I have had Trupanion for my beloved dogs and I would not hesitate to use them again.
