Outstanding Experience with Healthy Paws
I have a great experience with Healthy Paws and i have been telling all my friends about it! I know medical cost can be expensive thus i bought the insurance the first day i got my puppy. One day, i saw him won't open his left eye and he seems to be in pain. I look at his eye and it's super red. I took him to the vet and he was diagnosed with corneal ulcer. The doctor gave us some meds and we came back for a follow up visit 10 days later. Unfortunately his eye condition didn't improve. The vet suggested we took him to the ophthalmologist (I didn't even know that there's such thing for pet!!) and sure enough, he needs a surgery. So, we did a surgery on same day...Thankfully he is getting better everyday! The bill was pretty massive for his surgery, but i am glad that i have insurance. From submitting the claim to get my reimbursement check, it has been an easy process with Healthy Paws. I highly recommend you get the insurance to cover you for situation like this. Your best friend deserves the best insurance
OK, I'm not a big believer in insurance, but when Yumi came into my life 12 years ago I felt I had to get something. I looked around a bit and finally chose Trupanion. She was a puppy then, with no health issues, and yeah, those monthly premiums weren't cheap, but I soon forgot about them. Yumi was diagnosed with a heart murmur a few years ago, then I started having to give her medications twice a day, and she developed a persistent cough from retained liquid. I would have done anything to make her better, but on September 9th 2021 my bestest friend in all the world passed away. Well that's my story. Through all the years Trupanion was by our side. And with them by our side I knew that whatever her vet recommended, Trupanion would be there to help. And they've only gotten better since the early days. Making claims is so easy - snap a picture of the invoice with your phone and submit it. That's it. Super fast - like 1 or 2 days - turnaround. Direct deposit of reimbursements. 90% reimbursement rate, at least for my policy. Never had to fight with them over what was covered or anything. I have NEVER regretted my decision to go with Trupanion. I just wish I still needed it.
