I submitted my claim online and attached a scanned copy of my itemized receipt. I wish there was more room on the online claim submission form to provide details, esp for an ongoing issue. I was notified when my claim was processed via email. I logged in to review the processed claim. My money was deposited into my account the next day. The claim processing isn't as fast as it used to be.

I had several claims. Some for refills the other with a new doctor for my dog. I've had no problems with claims being submitted and dealt with in a very timely manor. Thanks for the good work to all. Rebecca Meushaw

When we adopted Mabel, I was really hesitant about paying for insurance for her; especially since money was tight and she was a healthy little pup. But, with all the health problems my other dogs had faced, I decided to try it and see how it went. I can tell you it was one of the best decisions I ever made in regards to Mabel's care! My experiences with Healthy Paws Pet Insurance have been a real treat! Not only are they quick in reimbursements but they show that they really do care about the pets they insure. One that stands out was when recently, a rather unexpected incident happened where my dog sniffed up a foxtail, and we had to take him to the ER first and when they couldn't extract it, we were directed to a specialist. Now, mind you, neither were cheap, but within a week after subitting photos of the receipts through the app, a check was in my mailbox. Simple as that! The cherry on top of this impeccable service was when I received an email from Healthy Paws asking how my dog is doing (he's much better and back to his hyper/goofy self)! I am not only a happy customer but I'd gladly recommend Healthy Paws to anyone who asks if they should insure their pets.

Somehow Valium managed to "sprain" his back. There was no rough-housing with his big brother,no high jump downs,nothing we could think of that would have caused it. He couldnt get comfortable,cried, dragged his belly and was in total misery. He reqired sedation,xrays,medication to alleviate the pain and allow healing. Filing his claim was easy,quick. Embrace has been amazing in the years that we've been a customer. They covered my lab mix rescue TWICE for cancer treatments (one skin, one hemangiosarcoma). Although our lab recently passed away, Embrace was always there for her through accidents, repeated ear infections and major illness. They have also covered our other lab mix rescue (who has fortunately been much healthier) and recently paid for an MRI for her when we were having trouble diagnosing a mystery ailment. I tried two other pet insurance companies before eventually finding Embrace, but I will be an Embrace customer for life.

I have the insurance for many years now. I have 5 animals insured and it has paid for their illnesses and accidents. Through the years it has just gotten better. I fax my claim in and with in days it is in my bank account.
