Guinness Root Canal

Healthy Paws is fantastic. Our 1 year old Lab had to get a root canal to save the tooth. The whole 2100 dollar procedure was covered.

Thank goodness for Embrace!

I have had Embrace insurance for many years for my Scottie, and thankfully, I haven't had to use it. Now, sadly, we do, and during these tough times, Embrace is doing a wonderful job of communication; rapid claim assessment and payment; and friendly and supportive customer service.

excellent service from an insurance company

My first experience with Healthy Paws came last week. My lil guy become sick and needed an overnight at the hospital. The bill was in excess of $1000. HP responded quickly and sent a check within a week for 90% minus the basic office visit and the annual deductible. I coudn't be happier with the service.

Confused and Disappointed

I have submitted two claims. The first one for an ACCIDENT on Christmas Eve... that accident required follow up visits and medication... I'm confused as to why NONE of this ACCIDENT was covered???? What's the point of having this insurance if a simple accident is not covered? I called when this happened and was told it was COVERED. However, it was denied. Very disappointed in your representation, explanation of benefits, and your coverage. This appears to be a total waste of my money. I would appreciate why an ACCIDENT was not covered?

Can you really put a price on your dog?

It's impossible for me to explain how much I recommend anyone with a dog or cat to have a Healthy Paws insurance plan on their pet. I was told by friends when I first signed up that it was a scam and I might as well save the money. My premium was about $30/month and they said I'd be better off just saving the money. A year into owning our rescue dog, Cody, he became lethargic and didn't want to eat. He started struggling to breath. As diagnosis after diagnosis was ruled out, the bills started rolling in. Healthy Paws never missed a beat, sending us the checks for their portion within days after receiving each claim. We are still trying to figure out what is wrong with Cody, but have spent thousands on tests, medications, and doctor visits. Healthy Paws has already paid us back thousands. They have never once nitpicked a charge or line item beyond what they say they don't cover. Without Healthy Paws, we never could have gotten this far in helping Cody. I will continue to get Healthy Paws for every pet I ever get.

Best Pet Insurance

I have been amazed at the efficiency and and service standards of Embrace. All of my claims have been handled in a timely manner. Communication with the company has been courteous and professional. I've told everyone about Embrace; our veterinarian asked me for information about Embrace so she could pass that on to other patients inquiring about pet insurance; "Always good to have a first hand testimonial", she said. I am so glad I chose Embrace for my girl!

Rude, Cold and Slimy.

Petsecure refused all claims for our 7 month old kitten who had to be put down due to FIP (a rare degenerative, viral, kitten disease. Kittens with it do not become adult cats). Their reasoning was that it was a pre-existing condition, despite the kitten having a clean bill of health up until the day he had blood work done to find out why he was acting weak and uncoordinated. I submitted claims for his diagnostics, his medications, and his eventual euthanasia and cremation, of which I received $0.00, and when I pushed, argued, guilted, and eventually cancelled my plan for both my cats, I received a $0.81 (yes, 81 cent) payout from them.

Very Satisfied with Speedy Repayments.

We've had insurance for both dogs, and had no need to use until recently when Maddie developed two serious issues. The first was diagnosed as megasophagus (enlarged esophagus). Though this is considered a hereditary condition and not covered, we WERE partially reimbursed for diagnostic charges. Later, she chipped a lower canine tooth and extraction was approved. When the dentist got to work on her, he found another cracked tooth that needed to be removed. ASPCA adjusted their reimbursement to cover that second extraction. They have always paid on claims in a very timely fashion.

Support for hip replacement surgery

Our dog Bertie was suffering from joint pain. The decision to have full hip replacement surgery was a tough one but he has come through and now leads a happy and active life. Without Embrace it would more than likely not been possible.They were very supportive throughout and prompt with reimbursement of a good portion of the surgery and post-operative care. Would definitely recommend Embrace to all pet owners.
