Knowledgable rep, great coverage,.
The rep was friendly and very knowledgable. She answered all my questions comprehensively. Had my best interest mind. Was told of savings of $48 dollars yearly by paying quarterly rather than monthly. Asked questions around value of "wellness" add on and was told likely not a good value unless were to access dental cleaning benefit. Also, that reimbursement per service with Wellness add on often does not cover full cost of service. So did not sign up for the option. Looks to me that it is at best a break even proposition. Overall, process was very smooth. I am especially impressed with the rep Lauren did an excellent job!

MetLife Pet Insurance: A Masterclass in Incompetence
Here we go again—another denied claim. Another month of absolute nonsense. At this point, I’m not even surprised. Just disgusted. For YEARS, I’ve submitted the exact same documentation from my vet stating that both of my dogs require AGE every single month. It’s on file. It’s highlighted. It couldn’t be more clear unless I tattooed it on someone’s forehead. And still—STILL—MetLife can’t get it right. Every month I waste my time fixing their mistakes. Every month I get some excuse: new staff, system issues, someone forgot to read. Are you kidding me? If any of us did our jobs this poorly, we’d be fired on the spot. The truth is, MetLife Pet Insurance is broken. The service is a joke. The systems are garbage. If I weren’t locked in because of pre-existing condition exclusions, I’d have ditched them ages ago. As soon as I find a better provider, I’m done. And if you’re reading this and dealing with the same ridiculous runaround—take this as your sign. Jump ship. They don’t deserve your money, your time, or your trust. Fix this, MetLife. Or don’t. Just know I’m not going quietly anymore.

Once we figured out what browser we could use, the rest was pretty straight forward. Since our dog was so young she didn't have much of a medical history. We sent what we had, but it wasn't much. I would have liked some kind of feedback on that. The actual claim form was quick & easy.

Trupanion has already saved us, A LOT!
Trupanion has already saved us a lot of Money and our new puppy is only a year old. Our last family member, Bentley the dog and Lily the cat cost us over $29,000 in less than 4 1/2 years. So yes, we are grateful to have Trupanion. Mahalo, Roger

US based customer service, fast processing and payment of claims.
My 3yr old Standard Poodle has had several serious heath issues. The most recent requiring surgery. Quick processing of bills and claim reviews. Friendly, caring customer service (US based). Not the cheapest insurance, but GREAT service. Very happy client who has a high level of confidence in TRUPANION.

Great pet insurance
They offer different packages for different types of services for your fur babies. I ended up needing to use it & they were great. My past pet insurance didn't cover anything & it was more expensive. I'll always recommend spot insurance
