FIGO makes it easy when you need to make an emergency decision.
I’ve used FIGO for all my GSDs for the past 7 years. Very easy to work with. Great coverage! Knowing they have my dogs backs have made it very easy during the emergency situations. Knowing that money isn’t an issue, that will limit their care is a big relief!! Most other companies have limits.

Overpriced and does not reimburse
Overpriced and does not pay out. They do not fairly apply out of pocket payments to deductible, thus after almost $1500 out of pocket for illness issues, I still haven't "met" my $250 deductible. They do not supply appropriate policy documents so you cannot reference what is supposed to be covered per your quote as those documents disappeared and were replaced with non-specific generalized information which does not detail the plan you actually pay for. I had to take time away from my patient care schedule as a provider (I would be appalled for any of my patients insurance to act in this manner!) to take care of the issues. Update: 1 star added as customer service did respond same day and our refunds for our policy premiums were refunded quickly. However, we have never been able to find any line by line documents verifying coverage of items (please reference your personal medical policy, homeowners/renters or car policies for what I mean). This is still a major red flag as “sample coverage” is not what one pays for. Please as a company consider updating your process to provide transparent line by line items and how coverages change by age of pet as well.

Evil Evil company
Evil Evil company. 6 years of making payments and my credit card got suspended because it was stolen. I then was sick and didn't receive any information from them. They canceled after 6 years of making payments and to reinstate they wanted double the money per month and 70 percent reimbursement instead of 90 percent. Do not use them, go to trupanion.

Pawfect Pet Insurance
After much research I settled on Lemonade....They make enrolling, and filing a claim easy and stress free. Lemonade keeps the promises they make on their website. They are quick to approve and respond to claims. I have recommended them to two friends since buying insurance to cover my rescue puppy, in October 2021.

Stress Free Dog Mom
When deciding to enroll in pet insurance, I was once told that I have insurance for my home, my car, myself, so why wouldn't I have it for my pet? My 90 Ib lab had a TTA ACL surgery a month ago. Healthy paws was able to answer all questions prior to the surgery so that I could solely focus on my recovering dog. When the claim took a bit longer, they followed up and communicated of such information. Healthy Paws has continued to ask about the recovery of my dog, and this truly shows how much they care about their clients. 10/10 would recommend insuring your pet through Healthy Paws. A fantastic team to work with and they let you focus on what really matters in life... making sure your pet lives the best one they have.

One word, disappointing.
As somebody who works in the insurance industry, I can't fathom how this company is still in business. First of all, it is next to impossible to connect with a representative from Pet Secure - let alone get a straight answer. I have sent 3 emails over a month and have yet to hear back. I attempted to call in and use their chat feature, but no one on their end could provide any updates. Their claim processing time is absolutely absurd. We were told 19 days to process a claim. It's now been over a month as we still haven't heard anything. Keep in mind this claim is non-complex in nature. It was simply reimbursement for a vet exam fee. Therefore there was no supporting medical documentation (scans, lab results, etc.). I cannot imagine what their TAT would be on a "complex" or "high dollar" claim. I also find their "Member Portal" next to useless. It is clunky (not user-friendly), and only serves the purpose of viewing claims. In my case, my claim never appeared on said portal. Once again, nobody could give me a straight answer as to why. We had this service extended to us through our veterinarian when our puppy was new. Needless to say, we will be taking our business elsewhere to cover our pet. I have no faith in this company's ability to actually pay out any relevant amount should we ever need it in the future. Highly disappointing.
