I am not entirely happy with this company. You never can reach a person with a question. The process takes months to work out. Your coverage is really not good. If you did not pay my recent claim I was definitely going to another company.

Trupanion allows us to do whatever it takes without suffering the financial worries.
Trupanion has been a pleasure to work with each and every time we needed them. Our Jackson developed an allergy condition earlier in his life and has had to be on medication daily. Once a diagnosis was confirmed, they went back and applied all the previous invoices to our deductible for that condition. At 8 years of age, Jackson has been diagnosed with IMPA (immune mediated polyarthritis) and the diagnostic tests and medication would have been staggering without Trupanion. I highly recommend this company to look after the ones you love most. We’ve never had an issue in 8 years. Thank you Trupanion!❤️

Trupanion is the best!
One of our dogs was diagnosed with diabetes and we racked up a thousand dollars worth of bills very quickly and are looking at a lifetime of care for her. I uploaded a thousand dollars worth of claims on a Tuesday evening and the payment was in my bank account on Thursday morning. She has now lost her vision due to cataracts as a complication of diabetes. If she qualifies for surgery, we will be reimbursed 90% of the bill. We lost our last dog to cancer and our medical bills for her were astronomical. I vowed we would never adopt another pet without insuring them and I'm so glad we did. Now money will never be an issue when deciding on either of our dogs' care. Our vet felt Trupanion's plan was the best so that's who we went with when we first adopted them as puppies. I've found their customer service to be excellent and their payments to be very prompt. I highly recommend them!

Excellent policy
Pets Best is reliable and they stand by their policy (no loopholes or push back on coverage). They are one of the few insurers that cover very senior dogs. My dog is 16 years old. The only criticism I have is their time to reimburse is 4-6 weeks but they communicate this upfront.
