A couple of years ago, we considered cancelling our Trupanion coverage in an effort to save money. A representative reminded us that the reason we purchased the insurance when we first got our dog Flynn was so we could afford to get him the treatment he needed in the event he were sick or injured. WELL, little did we know Flynn would end up having a liver condition and that his care would amount to over $11,000!! Trupanion to the rescue! We paid our $200 deductible and exam fees (the ONLY cost not covered by Trupanion) and submitted our claim. Trupanion literally paid 90% of the remaining cost. Flynn's care required more than one stay at the hospital. We NEVER paid another deductible and, thanks to the direct deposit option Trupanion offers, we had money in our account within 1 or 2 days. We are SO pleased. Thank you, Trupanion!

I feel very fortunate to have found and signed up for embrace pet insurance about 2.5 years ago. You have helped my older Yellow Lab and I enjoy more quality time together. The people at embrace were typically helpful the coverage is great and the terms and conditions are fairly clear. I always recommend you to my friends.

I read ALOT of these reviews and am wondering -- is this the same company I used? I am so confused but would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. My lab is 6 and was diagnosed with Horner's Syndrome. After a week and a half, it was 'denied as not covered.' She is a totally healthy pooch and this is why I bought it. Paid about 4500 in her 6 years - so after no reason why, just denied... I cancelled it... Maybe we don't have the same company... And yes, I did have good coverage...

Not long after speaking with a representative, to notify Trupanion of the passing of one of our dogs, we received a very personalized and touching sympathy card. This thoughtful gesture was very much appreciated.

Too expensive. Why is it more expensive than if I was to sign up as a new quote? Please lower rates to be fair or we will likely leave.

Easy submission & quick payment of claims

My dog was diagnosed with a ruptured ligament and back problems. They were wonderful to provide whisker docs for support and claim reimbursement and also preauthorization for surgery. I would highly recommend them!

ASPCA Pet Insurance has been a Godsend for us. We had only had our new beagle puppy for a month and had signed her up right away when we got her for insurance...."just in case". Well, she broke her leg playing with her big sister Beagle and it was an extremely serious and expensive procedure to get her healed. Our insurance was paid as promised. I rated as a 9 rather than a 10 simply because our first claim took a very long time to be processed but the others were faster.

Our dog broke his front paw, I submitted the claim using the smartphone app. No problems, and my claim was approved within 10 days. Easiest insurance claim i have ever had.
