Easy Peasy
I've come to really trust Pet's Best Insurance after the last year I've been a customer. My dog has been diagnosed with a health issue and they have been reliable for each and every claim I've submitted for the routine exams and specialty care he has received. The coverage includes emergencies, too, so that sets my mind more at ease. I'm confident that Pet's Best is there to support me and my furry family members throughout life.

Trupanion made our puppy scare less stressful
Our puppy, Wallace, started coughing and hacking on Friday night, and by Saturday morning had thrown up and coughed up blood. We made an emergency Vet appointment and called the Trupanion team to let them know what was happening. We spoke to Blair, who assured us that Trupanion had our back and they were praying for our little guy. When we got to the animal hospital, the Vet ran x-rays and found that our pup had pneumonia with fluid in one of his lungs and had a 104.5 degree fever. Worst of all, he would have to spend at least 1 night at the hospital to receive antibiotics and fluids. He ended up spending 2 nights, before returning to us to recover at home. During Wallace's stay, Blair emailed me to let my family know that her and the entire Trupanion team were pulling for a strong recovery. The care and communication she showed made the entire situation easier - especially because we did not know what was around the corner. After Wallace got out of the hospital, we received the invoice and filed our claim with Trupanion. Within 72 hours, we had been reimbursed 90% via Direct Deposit. Trupanion took a lot of the stress out of an incredibly stressful situation. We are forever grateful and will be recommending them to our friends and family for their pets going forward.

Dog exploded but not my bank account!
Our dog developed a large, serious abscess, and after ignored by the usual vet. I woked up at 2AM to our dog crying terribly because it had come to the surface and ruptured, exploding lymph and blood everyone. At age 5, we weren't going to let her go because someone else missed something. After 4 weeks of surgery (including draining the abscess, debriding an extensive area of necrotic tissues, and installing a drain, we're happy to say our dog is happy and healthy. And we are even more grateful that Healthy Paws was here for us; they reviewed our claim and dealt reimbursement fairly. There has been no talk of kicking us from the plan or anything for such a large claim. Because of their business operations, we got that money back to save away (perhaps in another dog fund.) I'd really recommend Healthy Paws, everything was extremely simple and user-friendly to get our claim filed and done.

Thank goodness for Trupanion.
We have had Trupanion for our dog Beau for almost 7 years now and have filed a few claims over the years. The staff is always very helpful and go the extra mile to get you any answers you may need. Claims go through quickly and if one is declined you can appeal the decision. Very glad to have Trupanion cover our sweet, loveable Beau. I have recommended Trupanion to friends and colleagues many times.
