I am telling all my friends of the spectacular service

I am very disappointed to learn that Trupanion does not have policies with an annual deductible, rather a “injury or condition based deductible.” This policy was unknown to me and it seems unfair by any reasonable standard, especially considering that I've been a member for four years and have only been able to reach my deductible payout once. I brought my dog to the vet for a torn dewclaw, which she has torn before. If this is not evaluated under the “same injury deductible” I will have to re-evaluate whether having a policy with Trupanion is in my and my dog's best interests, or if it makes more sense to pocket my monthly premium and save it for the next injury.

Embrace has been so easy to deal with, efficient, and generous with their coverage! My golden has a cyst in her eye that needs to be removed. I asked for pre-approval, and they got back to me within 24 hours and will cover 80%! I'm so glad I don't have to chose between financial ruin and my dog's eyesight. Best thing I ever did was sign up for Embrace pet insurance!
