Do not use this Insurer
My dog passed away 2 months ago and I have been able to speak to a customer service representative once, who told me to get the Vet to submit bills from the last 6 months, and to email the pet secure email to notify them the dog passed away as well. I did all those over 6 weeks ago and have only received automated email responses. I have tried 3 times to call them again, waited for over an hour each time and no answer. They have also taken monthly payments out for the policy twice since the dog died. I am going to have to call my credit card company and stop payment to them because they are totally stonewalling me. I would definitely not recommend this insurance company to anyone, the customer service is non existent.

Great Pet Insurance
My wife and I got pet insurance through Healthy Paws for our Dachshund mix puppy Hugo, after a good experience with them with our previous dog Chewie. Hugo recently underwent surgery, and Healthy Paws has been helpful with our questions and efficient in reimbursing us (80% of a very expensive procedure, once we met our deductible). Thank goodness we had Healthy Paws to make this difficult time just a little bit easier!

I got Fetch that same day I brought my puppy home. I didn't anticipate anything would come up in the first year... but a trip at the lake over the summer led to a blastomycosis diagnosis in the fall. My now one-year-old pup is still taking daily antiviral meds to treat this viral infection. Thankfully 80% reimbursement also applies to her meds. The app is easy to use and the customer service has been excellent. Any future pets I adopt will also be covered by Fetch.
