Great service
Prompt payment, no hassle. Wish they had highlighted or emphasized a direct deposit option when I enrolled, and also during the time I have been a client. I had to call and get that set up after claim was paid, and check was sent. This would shorten the time to get repayment, and reduce chance to lose a mailed check. Overall my experiences have been very positive.

Nationwide Pet has been very responsive
We are very happy with the help we have received with Otis during his most recent health issues. We have had pet insurance for Otis since he was a pup and we have always been very satisfied.

Extremely satisfied
I have had a Embrace policy for the past nine years since we adopted our beautiful kitty when she was 8 weeks old ! My cat has to take meds each month and Embrace is quick to turn around my claims whenever I have to order medicine for her and they are very good at communicating the status of my claim all the way through their claim processing ! They are a excellent company to deal with and pride themselves on their customer relation skills which , in my mind , is very important to all of us pet owners ! I would highly recommend them for anyone thinking about purchasing pet insurance ! You will not be disappointed !!

I just want to say Thank you! Its such a comfort knowing that Nationwide is there to help with vet bills. At times you don't expect things to happen with pets but just like humans there are emergencies that are unplanned. Recently I had to take my dog (my heart) Jackson to the ER Vet and was so grateful to get most of the money back from Nationwide. Thank you for making things a bit easier.

VPI WAS MUCH BETTER BEFORE NATIONWIDE TOOK OVER
Although Nationwide (formerly Vpi) helped out with the bills, the initially declined a couple claims for reasons that were not correct. Our pup had chronic diarrhea and they ran several tests including giardia. This was just just one of several test to triple out the problem. NATIONWIDE covers e. r. Visits, but cited this as not a covered visit because they don't cover Giardia. In other words they found 1/2 a reason to decline a whole claim. Same with her tooth. E. R visit for a broken tooth, main visit was for broken tooth, they just cleaned the rest of her teeth while she was under (Which I knew wasn't covered but I was paying for) and declined the whole e. R. Visit. I had to fight and explain to them to stop assuming as both visits were e. R. Visits. Vpi was never like this and they didn't have specific limits for each specific injury or situation. I miss them. :(

Embrace is amazing
I don’t know what I would do without embrace pet insurance. They help me every time my pet has to go to the vet. I don’t have anything to worry about, I know he is covered.

Excellent coverage and very caring staff
Excellent coverage, and friendly staff who genuinely care about the health and happiness of our dog. We received hand-signed condolence cards from Healthy Paws staff members when our beloved old guy passed away. After a recent operation for our younger girl, the Healthy Paws team checked in to ask how she was doing. They really care and go the extra mile in customer service. I never hesitate to recommend them to friends and family.

Do they have human insurance?
When I first adopted Ollie, my vet advised me to get pet insurance. I got it reluctantly, and thought I would cancel it a few months later. This insurance is a complete blessing. My little guy has been through a lot in the past four years since I had insurance. When Ollie had to have emergency spinal surgery due to ruptured discs my insurance was the last thing I was thinking about. After he made it home, I remembered I had insurance, uploaded my receipts and received a check within two weeks! I couldn't believe it. I have submitted a few claims since then and it is always so easy. To go a step further, after we brought Ollie home I even got an email from a really nice "claws and paws protector" from Healthy Paws just checking to see if Ollie was ok. I am so glad I was too lazy to cancel my insurance 4 years ago. I don't know what I would have done without Healthy Paws. I am happy to recommend them to anyone adopting a new pet.
