Missing records ???
Policy claim #552485-2-2. I got three emails saying they needed more medical records. I uploaded 11 pages on an almost three year old dog. Then I got another email saying they wanted more details. I contacted my Veterinarian that treated him, they emailed detailed records to Healthy Paws. I got an email today saying claim was denied due to missing records. I have no way of seeing exactly what records are uploaded because the website doesn't show me. My claims are 4,300.00 dollars and I pay over 82.00 per month for my two dogs with 500.00 deductible and 90% coverage. This is the first claim I've ever filed and If they don't fix this I'll have to switch companies. My dogs are only 2 and 3 years old.

Terrible communication/customer service
I agree with the posted comments about the lack of customer service. I have tried to call them over the course of 3 weeks, various times of day and days of the week with a recording saying I have either a 15min or 30min wait time----after one hour of waiting still no answer. I have also emailed them and received very delayed responses or none at all. My vet has also voiced the opinion that the contact/communication with this company is very poor. I don't recommend them at all.

TruPanion direct billed my vet, they informed me of every step throughout the claim process, and covered over $600 of the vet bills. I highly recommend them to anyone who has pets.

WARNING!! Late Stage Robbery!!
They were great to start. It began 6 years ago at around $60 per month. It raised to $94.07 per month over time. Now I just received a notice that it is raising to $205.05 per month !!!!! My dog is just turning 7 years old so they are trying to make the insurance unaffordable now that the dog will be a bit older in a couple years. I've paid every month for years, now all of the sudden they are trying to starve us out with crazy prices. I'm shocked $60 to $94 to all of the sudden $205 !?!?!? Thieves, beware of this non-sense, this is their game.

We got a Labradoodle puppy and knew we would likely get her insurance. We did research on chose Trupanion for our last dog, and we did again. I am so glad! As technology has evolved, it is easier and easier to file a claim AND get reimbursed quickly! My claims don’t pile up in my “to-do” pile like my own claims. It is so easy from my phone, that I file right away and get reimbursed directly into my account so fast that it leaves me wondering, “Why can’t other businesses do this?!?” Plus, they are genuinely NICE when u have a question or issue and can talk to a human! I have to say, I hope someone at Trupanion reads this because I just want to say, “Thank you for making just one thing in my life EASY!!!!!” I have

Healthy Paws Pet Insurance is a great service - they are very helpful, prompt and on top of their game. My golden doodle boy severed his Achilles’ tendon in a freak accident while we were traveling. Fortunately I had taken out a policy in my pup a couple years prior— just in case. Well it paid off when the bill came. Healthy Paws processed my claim promptly and followed up with a caring inquiry to the status of my golden doodle boy 😊🐕 I highly recommend Healthy Paws Pet Insurance for your peace of mind!!!
