Absolutely terrible customer service
Absolutely terrible customer service. Representatives were rude and impatient, unwilling to answer basic questions, and refused to email quotes. No one could explain the significant and unreasonable increase in premiums, and I was not allowed to speak with a supervisor. Very disappointing experience and a serious lack of transparency. I really hope that management addresses all the issues publicly.

One Small Suggestion
Would love to be able to subdivide my vet invoices under two different “problems/reasons for the visit” (so to speak). My girl was seen for an allergy-related shot as well as a secondary infection, making the claim submission a little complicated on my end. But otherwise, Trupanion is fantastic! So quick to respond and reimburse. I can’t imagine having pets without insurance now!

Trupanion has always provided excellent customer service…they are very knowledgeable about their product and professional. Any claims that are submitted are responded to promptly and deposited within a couple of days. We have been extremely happy that we chose Trupanion for our pet insurance.
