Affordable health insurance with a caring company and customer service team. I did a lot of research before choosing and by far they had the best feedback. Now having used them I can say, the reviews were accurate! I am a first time user of pet insurance and had no issues submitting my first claim or getting reimbursed when my puppy got unexpectedly sick. There is no price on having peace of mind and knowing that my baby will be taken care of if need be. I hope to not have to use it again, but it’s a safety net I am grateful for.

Had a real mixup with my dog's meds.
Had a real mixup with my dog's meds. Had been getting this med for nearly 2 yrs, fromPet Care Rx, but ordered from Chewy.com by mistake. They sent bill, which I forwarded to Trupanion. ((Existing claim.) They were denied, due to incorrect dosage. (I told them 1.25MG, but they requested Vet OK for 1.50MG; vet denied. But, I had already faxed bill to Trupanion, and they paid claim immediately! When I learned of mistake, I called Trupanion, and error was corrected. (ChewyRx.cIaimed that this med. NOT available in 1.25 mg (after I have been getting it for nearly 2 yrs.! Ordered pills from Pet care Rx, and pills on the way! Trupanion helped me by understanding and cancelling the auto-deposit to my bank. (I called bank, and it had already been done.) I was very stressed, as this med is VITAL to keep my fur baby alive and healthy; and Trupanion came through for me, and relieved my stress.

Healthy Paws is the absolute best
Healthy Paws is the absolute best! They are nothing short of amazing ! Our dog has had a few mishaps and has had to be hospitalized. Healthy paws claims is so simple and paid quickly! I recommend them to every single person I know who has a pet! My best friend and cousin use them now!

You’re better off putting your money in…
*This review is not based on the outcome of one claim, but on my experience being a customer for over a year* You’re better off putting your money in savings than trying to deal with these highway robbers. I have tried to file a few claims with Trupanion and I’ve been declined each time despite following every process. It seems like they arbitrarily decline claims and make you appeal them if you really want your money. I would rather know that I have an insurance company who goes to bat for me and finds ways to protect me, then looks for ways to say no. I regret ever leaving PetPlan for this awful company. I’ve cancelled my policy and feel better about going broke at the vet than dealing with Trupanion ever again. That should say a lot.
