ASPCA Saved My Pups Life!
My 9 month old pup randomly started acting lethargic and would not eat her food one evening. The next day I rushed her to the vet, who told me she was in terrible shape and was lucky she was still living. She had an extremely high fever, highest they had ever seen in a dog. They immediately sent me to the emergency vet specialists down the road. We got there and they immediately went to work to get to the bottom of everything. Though they still are not 100% sure what kicked her immune system into overdrive, she miraculously made it after several days in the animal hospital. With the assistance of Care Credit (I was instantly approved and was able to significantly increase my limit 24 hours after the approval), I was able to pay the thousands in bills. I could do this all because I have a 90% coverage policy which reimbursed me all 90%. Between ASPCA and CareCredit, they literally saved a life. After all of this, every single friend and family member enrolled their pets. To see a perfectly healthy pup who routinely had checkups go from 100 to 0 is every pet parents worse nightmare. Thank you for your service ASPCA and thank you even more for making it quick and easy to file claims.

Fast and accurate service
So thankful for Trupanion. Although we don’t have many paid claims because we are usually under what we have set as a deductible we still have communication when one of our dogs has an issue. It is always a pleasant experience and we always get clear and precise communication.

Professional, quick and easy to work with!
This was our first claim experience in eight years. Our dog came down suddenly with a life-threatening illness which required immediate and expensive specialized medical care. The emotional strain of having a sick 'family member' was enormous. Worrying about the unknown costs we were potentially facing made the situation much worse. Luckily, we were covered by Trupanion, so we could focus 100% of our energy on our dog's treatment and eventual recovery.

Helping Me Take Care of My Soulmate
When my 7 year old Alaskan Malamute tore his ACL and meniscus and needed TPLO surgery (a procedure that costs over $3000+) having Trupanion was how I could focus on my dog and not be overwhelmed with anxiety regarding the dent it would put in my bank account. I was able to focus all of my energy on properly caring for him and could stay open-minded about post-op therapy options as well. Ultimately, I had the peace of mind to move forward in a time where I would have been paralyzed with fear had I not had Trupanion coverage. I've had Lupo since he was 7 weeks old and he's all I've got - no kids, no significant other - he is my soulmate and my best friend. This whole experience to me = priceless. Lupo is recovering and is without a doubt the best part of my day. Thank you Trupanion!

What a relief!
It is a huge relief that I can have life saving services done for my Aussie, Ty, without worrying about how to pay for it. His prognosis following surgery is good and I am looking forward to many more years of fun with him! I am so thankful to have Embrace insurance.

Easy Claiming process and everything was covered!
I've been a customer with Healthy Paws for just over a year for my 2 cats. I originally decided I originally chose Healthy Paws for the simplicity of the claims and because just about anything is covered after your deductible. About a month ago I finally put Healthy Paws to the test - I came home to find one of our cats had broken his foot. I'm still a bit clueless as to how he did it, but my vet and surgical specialist both recommend corrective surgery. I got an estimate from the surgeon and then called Healthy Paws. I spoke to a very compassionate person who was patent with me while I listed off everything the surgeon was going to charge me for and she confirmed everything would be covered. I used the mobile app to file the claims from my vet appointment and surgery and received my reimbursement checks in the mail about 10 days later without any issues. About a week after the claims were finalized I received an email from Healthy Paws asking how my cat was recovering which I thought was such a wonderful, personal touch. I highly recommend Healthy Paws! They've been so wonderful and easy to work with every step of the way!

I hate this company.
My experience with Trupanion was absolutely terrible. They hold the right to deny any claim made even based off of their own assumptions and no actual proof. I paid for Trupanion for 3 months before my dog started getting and ear infection, so I brought her to the same vet she's gone to since she got her puppy shots. We have been trying to treat what seems to be a never ending battle with this ear infections (now on the third kind of medicine) and now seems as though surgery will be her only option or she will lose her hearing completely due to the infection growing so rapidly, and the infection won't just stop at her ears if it is left untreated. However Trupanion has decided they will not cover this. When I called to find out why they said because my account was so new and because I had called the vet to insure that she had not had an ear infection before (couldn't remember if it was her or my other dog) so I knew the vet appointments would be covered past my 200$ deductible, it seemed strange to them and they were assuming that the condition must be pre existing based off this "evidence". They said that in the vet notes, I had received advice from another vet to get pet insurance. That isn't wrong, I had received that advice from a family friend who did go to veterinary school, but currently works at an animal shelter, several months ago.. which is what led to me actually getting Trupanion. I am a single mom to an 8 month old, money is always tight.. So when I first noticed the infection I had called the same family friend to ask her about my dogs ears and if she could check it out to let me know if I should worry, unfortunately she was too busy to come take a look for me so she recommended I call the vet to insure that she hadn't had any prior ear infections and if not then to take her to an actual vet clinic as it would now be covered by my new insurance.... Turns out all of my time, and money spent on Trupanion was a complete waste! Now I have spent 600$ over the past 3 months on their policy.. I need to come up with 350$ for the appointment I took her to yesterday that I just found out won't be covered... On top of now needing to figure out how I am going to pay for continued vet appointments or surgery if it comes down to it! My advice would be save the money you could be spending on a policy with Trupanion for when an emergency does come up for your pet and you need money to pay for it, as Trupanion seems to just be able to decide based on a whim that they will not cover for your pet when it is needed. Leaves you with even more bills and they could care less about you or your furbaby. I'm so sad about all of this, and the only solution they gave me was to send an appeal application... Great so they can take 2 more months while taking money out of my account to possibly say no again?? In the meantime I'm still trying to figure out how to pay for the appointment's she needs now! I wish I could give them a 0/10 rating.

I highly recommend trupanion for your pet's insurance
We have not regretted getting our german shepherd segen enrolled in Trupanion's premium plan when he was 3 months old. Unfortunately, we've had to use the policy many times due to a severe injury requiring extensive surgery and follow up care. He's also needed to remain on medication for other health issues. If we hadn't had Trupanion, we wouldn't have been able to afford the treatments he has needed. But with our policy, our claims have been paid out at 90% coverage. The claims have always been processed promptly and their 24/7 phone service can't be beat.

A sincere thank you to Healthy Paws for coming to our rescue!!!
Our dog Luca is a dear part of our family and we are extremely happy that he is healthy again. We want to thank Healthy Paws for being part of the medical care and healing that Luca had to go through. I highly recommend this Insurance company, because they stand by their name and reputation. They truly believe that Animals are People too and should receive the same health care as people do. "My family would not do business with any other pet insurance company, because we have built trust belief in Healthy Paws"
