I found what I was looking for…
While I was waiting for my new fur baby, I shopped around for pet insurance and I didn’t like the terms and all of the automatic exclusions of things common to most dogs. We went for our first evaluation check up after receiving our new baby and our vet recommended Trupanion. As soon as we returned home I was on the computer. I had found the insurance company we had been looking for!! Our baby has had two emergent visits and Trupanion has been a great help. I was very glad to find out that they will pay directly to your vet at check out. What a great option instead of having to wait for reimbursement. Everyone in customer service has been pleasant, caring, and courteous. Trupanion has been a great companion to have in the time of need.

Peace of mind is worth the cost
Trupanion makes it easy to submit claims and reimbursement comes promptly. The peace of mind that my pet is covered in a emergency is worth the cost. I almost canceled b/c our dog is well behaved, hasn’t had any problems, but hubby wanted to keep insurance —a few months later we had a $5k vet emergency and are so glad we didn’t have to think twice about care for our dog. Knew it would be covered.
