I could not directly find a logon on…

I could not directly find a logon on the list under Embrace. Also, every time I tried to review the images of the vet bill, then go back to the form (prior to submission) I was thrown out. I'm sure these problems were partially due to my inexperience with your site.

Monica helped me today

Monica helped me today. She was incredibly professional and answered every question I had. I had originally called to cancelled, but when Monica explained how important coverage can be for my two purebred dogs, I not only stayed with Prudent Pet, but added a feature. I will add our new addition next month as well. Thank you!

Baby Girl had a sick stomach and was…

Baby Girl had a sick stomach and was unable to poop. She had no appetite but she drank lots of water and had no problem urinating. She was given lots of loving and meditation and we went home with food and meds for her. She got better in a few days. She started eating and then she tried to poop and blood came out. She’s doing fine now. The blood came out due to sliding on the rug by the door. I keep ointment on her for now.

Don't do it !!

I recently signed up for insurance for a one-and-a-half-year-old rescued Boerboel. When I called them to get information about the policy coverage among other things I was told there was a five-day waiting period on injuries. Two weeks into my policy my dog tore her ACL. I contacted my insurance person that wrote my policy and she assured me that it would be covered being that the five-day waiting period had passed. My $7,000 claim was immediately denied due to a special clause that excludes the 5 day waiting period for several major injuries. When I contacted trupanion they first told me I was denied because they're of the opinion that a dog does not tear their ACL unless there's previous degeneration already present. That is the dumbest thing I've ever heard, she's still a puppy !! The surgeon agreed that there was no previous damage and sent her her findings to trupanion stating such. I was again denied. I was told there was a clause under the pre-existing condition section that lists these special exclusion. When I contacted my insurance person she completely disagreed with how the contract was worded and that this exclusion was not listed with the waiting period section of the policy but was put in a paragraph down in the pre-existing condition section and was worded in a way that made it sound as if that special exclusion was only on pre-existing conditions. When I contacted trupanion again they did not seem to care about how misleading their policy was and l was told that I should have called them and ask questions about the way it was worded and what they intended it to mean. Why would anyone call and ask that question if they thought that they already understood what it meant and had the reassurance from their State Farm agent who also understood it to be coverd. If they cannot understand what a policy means then how in the hell do they expect the average person to understand it. That's why we call our insurance person !!! The real kicker is that now her knee injury is considered pre-existing and will also exclude any coverage of possible future injuries to her other knee being that they consider the second injury to be caused by the first injury. Wow that's a convenient way for them to get out of another possible claim!! I also wanted to mention that my premium is $176 a month which of course I thought was high but now that I read other reviews I realize I am paying almost triple of what everyone else was quoted. Please take my advice and choose another company that will not charge you a fortune and find a way out of paying all of your claims. This is been a very expensive lesson for me to learn but I guess it's better that I found out now before I spent a ton of money on premiums to just be denied for all of my future claims. RUN!
