Lucky we had Trupanion, my puppy had emergency surgery and they responded so quickly. Things went pretty smooth but would have been much smoother had the emergency clinic known how to submit properly.

Luxating Patella's right and left knee. Surgeries and medications covered at 90%. 1st time I had pet insurance, one of the best decisions I have made. Trupanion has been there with support and a caring attitude.

Easy to deal with, easy to file a claim, and paid quickly

We signed up on line & received a declarations page. Our trial month was almost up but we still got notifications to sign up. When we called to find out why, they said we weren't signed up but couldn't understand why the credit card info was in the system. We were asked if we wanted to sign up & the price was now higher than that stated on our declarations page. We were told that price was only good for 24hrs but this is nowhere in writing & our vet said that's not true. After 2 months of waiting for a written response, I cancelled. If a company can't respond to emails, they've got a problem.

The claim process was simple, easy and quick. I completed the claim form and sent via email and the file was processed the very next day. Great service!!

When you call them the service is excellent . Very polite and concerned about you and your animal. They are very helpful in answering any of your questions. I'm very pleased and so glad I got this insurance. I would highly recommend this company.
