I didn't create any claims yet - just decided to purchase it for my beloved cat as he is getting older and you can never be too sure. I have read some great pet parent experiences about Spot Pet Insurance and hope I get the same. It was relatively easy to navigate the website and I loved how transparent the conditions are. I did some research and decided this was the one as I live in NYC and things can get pretty expensive; I purchased the annual one time payment because that's just how I prefer to pay. I hope I won't ever have to use it but just in case I do, I'll be prepared.

Happy we kept the medical insurance last 9 yrs. Diagnosed with Cancer in 2020 Trupanion has reimbused 90% of each visit.
Paid the premiums monthly for 9 yrs never had a serious medical crisis as Maverick was a healthy dog. May 19 2020 Maverick wasn't feeling out of sorts, brought him to our vet who said he is very sick. He has fluid in his stomach and you to go to an Emergency Veterinary Hospital for an Ultra Sound but I feel he as Cancer. Upon waiting over 4 hours while tests were being done he was diagnosed with T-Cell Lymphoma. He had an Ultra sound with a guided needle biopsy of the liver & aspirated fluid from his stomach. This bill was over $1,800. Thank God we kept up on his premiums knowing Trupanion would reimburse once his deductible was met and then 90%. He is holding his own but knowing that all his follow-ups and all meds for Lymphoma are covered it is peace of mind. Thank you Trupanion, for your efficiency in processing all claims e-mailed to you in a timely manner.

Superior Pet Insurance Company and People!
I am so happy with Healthy Paws! I looked around for the best pet insurance company when we got a new puppy 6 years ago. I had another insurance company for my older dog, but wanted to see what other companies were available for our new guy. Healthy Paws was ranked number one for ease, reimbursements, etc. I took the advice and opened a policy with them. I have been supremely impressed for those 6 years. The claims process is the extremely quick and easy (less than 1 minute to click a few boxes and snap a picture of the invoice). The reimbursement, which is always phenomenal, is usually directly deposited into my bank account within 24 hours. The customer service is personable (they emailed to check my dog after he got sick) and very responsive. I have no complaints at all!!! Love them, love the name!

When my Abbey came down with severe vomiting and spent two days in the hospital Trupanion was great picked up 90% of the $3,000 bill. i didn't hesitate when she needed valuable tests, because i knew you where there.
