There is absolutely NO justification for the recent hike in premiums.
There is absolutely NO justification for the recent hike in premiums. You are now pricing my 2-year old dog higher than my 6-year old dog. Both are mixed breeds, both female, both with perfect health records, both within 10 pounds of each other (40 lbs vs 30 lbs). I am shopping for alternate coverage.

I haven't had to use the policy yet but I had to raise all my pets deductibles to the max just to be able to semi afford it.

One of the pets covered is my service dog and while I did get a discount for him it still wasn't much. I like Trupanion and everything but I'm gonna start looking at other carriers to see if I can get a better rate.

Large increase in premiums this year. Approximately $15/mo more than my initial quote. Small increases were accepted. This next renewal is an additinal $8/mo from an already climbing monthly rate.

Reiable courteous caring.
Reiable, courteous, caring. At first when my pet was a baby it seemed lie paying into this protection was too much ove5r time. But now that he is up in age and experiencing physical declineand in need of serious Veterinary treatments I am so glad that I kept it. No price on peace of mind for my baby. He's been with us since two months ols and now he's 12 and has given us so much joy that we can't just let him go, not yet.

Trupanion has been great about covering everything that falls under my pup's plan.
Trupanion has been great about covering everything that falls under my pup's plan. Payment is usually very quick and hassle free and when I've needed to call I've never had a single unpleasant experience. That said, coverage is expensive and the price goes up constantly. Is it worth it? Yes, absolutely. Do I recommend it to others? Yes, constantly!
